I am so happy that I chose Todd Gonyer to be my lawyer. Mr. Gonyer (he insisted I call him Todd) answered the phone himself from my very first call, which impressed me right off the bat. Most lawyers have assistants, so you rarely even get to speak to the lawyer directly for a speeding ticket. No...t Todd. I called on Monday for my speeding ticket- 87 in a 60 mph zone, reckless driving AND a failure to appear in court which resulted in a revoked license. We had a lengthy consultation over the phone about the best plan of action and what it would cost. I called back Tuesday afternoon to make payment and then emailed the forms back that he had me sign so he could represent me in court without me having to even leave my house or miss any work. By mid afternoon Thursday Todd was calling to tell me he had the reckless driving dropped and the ticket decreased to 69 in a 60 mph zone. The failure to appear was erased from my record all together as if it never even happened! I have never had a better experience with a lawyer and I have had to hire plenty due to my bad driving habits. If you want a lawyer who will pay you close personal attention, handle your issue very promptly and get you the BEST RESULT POSSIBLE, you need look no further. Unfortunately I received 2 speeding tickets in my time in Charlotte, NC. But fortunately I had the Law Office of Todd E. Gonyer, PLLC handle both tickets! I searched a few sites that to find a decent lawyer. I had a list of around 10, so I emailed them all my situation. Only half responded, and the o...nes that did had a generic response and many had higher fees. Todd's response was the most personalized. He actually looked up my ticket, and gave a brief strategy of how he would handle it. He was very proactive, and very responsive to my questions. He was able to work with the county and prevent my second speeding ticket (within 3 years) from going on my record, and my fine was reduced considerably. I highly recommend him for any moving violation!
