The Best Lawyer Ever!
Brian is one of most of the trusted attorneys in the area. He takes time to understand his clients and be there when they need help. It is rare to find an attorney who can take care of you in the courtroom and will call to check on you just to make sure you are alright.

Amazing Attorneys
The King Law Firm is absolutely amazing. They not only fight vigorously on behalf of their clients, but they show genuine concern and compassion for those who need their services. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of dealing with Brian and his team, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a competent and caring attorney to fight for them.

King law review
We were recently involved the justice system regarding a family member charged with a felony ... and we were by no means familiar with the justice system. King Law Attorneys kept us informed and answered all our questions and requests and stayed the course with us, the jury was out a mere 15 minutes and came back with a unanimous verdict of NOT Guilty. Brian King and his fellow attorneys showed compassion, professionalism, and expertise throughout the entire 18 month ordeal. We highly recommend, applaud and thank Brian and his staff for their winning efforts on our behalf and for their thoughtfulness towards our family during this event that no family should have to endure. If you have a case that you need to win ... call Brian at King Law ...

Highly Recommend!
Brian has been nothing but helpful in my divorce case. It has been an incredibly stressful situation, but his knowledge of family law and constant reassurance has been a life saver. He has fought for me multiple times in the court room, and been successful each time. I recommend him to anyone in my same situation. He will do everything in his power to take care of you!

A friend and an attorney
Brian King treated my wife and me the way trusted friends do. He has always been very careful to differentiate between personal opinion and legal advice. We trust him to give us factual, honest, and useful information.

Conquered my Goliath
Through Brian's experience practicing family law, he used intuition, diligence, and focus, to make known the facts, in my case. Using these skills and his knowledge of family law made it possible for him to stay the course, to keep opposing distractions from taking root, in order to reveal the hidden truths. In his final argument, he was exceptionally skillful at gathering the puzzle pieces to expose the falsehoods and bring a happy ending. From a 37 year marriage, Brian obtained for me, Freedom, Justice, and Well-being: the divorce and permanent alimony. As an older woman, this is valuable to me; a means of financial security. Thank you Brian and your staff!

Family Law
Where do I begin at rating the best attorney on the planet? There are not enough stars. With the help of Brian King my children were restored to me after a very very very long battle including two separate counties in two separate states. I thought my world ended when my ex-husband up and moved my children to our neighboring state of North Carolina. I did not know where to turn knowing my ex could lead me down a dead end path of court litigation choosing which state would he choose lead me to Brian. He immediately put my heart at ease when he said he could help me. He is very kind, accommodating, supportive, sharp witted and well dressed. From the stand point of a mother, who's in a custody action he will make feel as though you are his only client. And believe me that means a lot because I have been through my fair share and Brian King made me believe in the "system" again after I thought I was at the end of my rope.

Amazing!
I recently hired Mr. King to represent my husband and I. The first time we met him it actually felt like we knew him forever. He was so kind and so positive about the whole experience. He didnt try to sugar coat anything and was very upfront and honest. Mr. King and his assistant, Jeanne, made us feel as if they were on our side, even when it felt like noone was. I would recommend him to anyone.

Left me in the dark when I needed them
I drove two hours to court just for my attorney I hired to not be there with no communication from anyone else that I wouldn’t have legal counsel that I PAID FOR!! I highly DONT recommend this law office. They left me in the dark during my court date. Getting there at 9 am in court I sit and wait, while the other parties attorney is there and ready for trial and my attorney is nowhere to be found. After about 25 mins of waiting, The opposing attorney then goes and finds another lawyer from king law which then reveals to the judge my lawyer “has covid” which is actually a personal health information violation. I then have to speak up for myself and tell the judge we have to do something because I can’t keep traveling down here for court dates and my lawyer not be there. It ended up getting resolved that day, but I am still upset at the actions of king law after this. I go to the office immediately after court and express how I felt about NOBODY calling me to tell me I didn’t have a lawyer to represent me, and everyone was so sympathetic and apologetic… saying I am being nicer than most people would be… but weeks later when I call to ask about what my case manager said she would call me back about last week, everyone’s got a new attitude and there are going to be “no adjustments” to my bill… even though THEY did not do their job and communicate with me and now I can’t speak to the case manager I spoke to last week, and the general manager won’t be returning my call because “it’s been closed and I am not receiving any adjustments”….. I’ve been told my only two options are to talk to accounting or to file something with the BAR. Meanwhile they’ve taken thousands of dollars from me for NOTHING! And all they have to say is “we’ve done the work on these invoices, no refunds” but they won’t discount for failing to actually do their job! You hire a lawyer to be there for you, and to guide you through the court process and I’ve had the complete opposite this whole time that I have had King Law represent me. Paid all of this money to be alone through the process of court. I should have just represented myself. I wouldn’t be so stressed about why my legal team won’t give me answers in a reasonable time. Calls take days if not a week and a half to be returned, everyone is too busy to talk but they aren’t too busy to charge you $400 to file papers or to have an in house meeting. I was a returning customer and I had actually recommended Brian king from past experiences; but it is obvious that now that his firm has gotten so large the quality has went down. So yeah, hire King Law if you want to waste your money on people who don’t actually care about your issues and care more about how they can suck every $300/hr out of you. WORST LAW FIRM IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY! Represent yourselves before you hire these people.

REVIEW
Mr. King's office was hired to handle a speeding ticket for me in his county. His associate was supposed to talk with the DA and plead to a lesser speed. That never happened and I never heard back from the associate until I called and emailed multiple times over several days asking what had happened in court. Associate had no excuse for why he hadn't contacted me after he knew the DA was not going to reduce my ticket. When I complained, Mr. King said he would personally speak to the DA but, by that time, my license had been suspended and the DA was unwilling to revisit the case. Mr. King knew ahead of time my license was going to be suspended, yet he did nothing to get me a limited driving privilege, even though he knew I lived alone in a rural location.

"I have known Mr. King for several years and have worked opposing counsel against him in several cases. He is one of the only attorneys that has ever given me a run for my money. Unfortunately, I was not able to help a friend in need when she sought legal representation. After consulting with Mr. King when a friend needed a family law attorney, I realized why he was so effective in court, he actually cares about his clients. Mr. King took the time to explain the process and ensure that all of our questions were answered. When I was a witness in the case, Mr. King, out of four attorneys, did the best job in court. He also took the time properly prepare me for court when I was called as a witness in the case. It was clear that he was the most prepared and ready to hold the other attorneys to their task. As a lawyer that was a witness for the first time, I was put at ease by his demeanor. Mr. King's zealous representation of his client is a model for other attorneys. If you need a family l"

"Brian is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and has been representing clients in contested domestic matters for many years. Brian is an excellent negotiator, and many of his cases settle because he is able to work out an agreement that is beneficial to both parties. Brian is able to represent the interests of his clients effectively while being professional and courteous to opposing counsel and to the Court. Brian served as counsel to the Department of Social Services for several years and I believe this gives him insight into the workings of that agency that benefits his clients. DSS is frequently involved in domestic cases, particularly child custody matters, and Brian is able to navigate these very effectively due to his knowledge and experience in dealing with DSS. Brian King is an excellent lawyer and I have referred numerous cases to him in the past because I know that he will do his very best. I endorse this lawyer."
