I am an animal attorney. Animal law encompasses many fields of law (constitutional, family, criminal, civil, contracts, property, administrative, trust/estates, etc). To state it briefly, I help people if their animals have been harmed. I also help rescues, sanctuaries, and other animal entities with animal issues (for instance, reviewing an adoption contract for a rescue group). I love animals and am passionate about helping others who also love animals. In addition to a full-time animal law practice, I am also an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Animal Law at UNC School of Law.

In Very Competent and Caring Hands
Being threatened with having our dog taken away from us and killed was a terrifying experience but once we hired Calley we KNEW we were in very good and competent hands. Calley's carefully considered response letter to the attorney representing the other party was nothing short of perfection. She sta...

Euthasia for First Bite
Calley Gerber went above and beyond to save our dog from euthanasia after a first bite. (The person bit received stitches but no permanent damage to muscle, nerves or bone.
