Wonderful

I don't think anyone looks forward to having to get a lawyer. Finding the right lawyer can be an overwhelming task in itself, maybe even more so than the situation that calls for the need to have to find a lawyer. Calley is simply wonderful. I received a call back well within the time line adverti...sed. She took the time to listen and understand my situation. She adjusted her schedule the same day to fit me in as I thought it was urgent. She asked questions and gave me options and opinions. I felt such relief that I was not facing my situation alone. Great communication and follow-up as well as transparency on pricing, no hidden fees or gimics. I do not anticipate ever needing legal representation concerning my pet again, but if I do, Gerber Animal Law Center will be my first call. Thank you so much for helping me and my pet in this difficult situation and having a positive outcome. I am grateful for her counsel. I know this is her job, but I wasn't just a pay day. I felt she cared about my situation as much as I do.

Exceeded Expectations

I specifically chose Calley Gerber to handle my case after reading all of the positive reviews about her and it more than paid off. I had never been through any type of legal process before and was extremely overwhelmed by the prospect. Calley not only gave me legal advice and services but also valid...ated my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure I knew my options. She was always very transparent, giving realistic expectations and being open about costs. Her rates are extremely reasonable and she goes the extra mile to create quality deliverables. I felt like she was always available, returning my phone calls and emails after her normal work hours on several occasions. She makes you a priority and she is the reason I was able to get justice for my beloved pet.

Administrative Officer

I was frantically in need of legal advice regarding custody over a dog that had been in my care for over two years. When calling around for local attorneys I called Calley's office and was not only able to speak directly with Calley, but she squeezed me in for an appointment the following day, which ...I was so thankful for! Calley quickly understood the situation I was in and due to the time sensitivity of my issue, wrote a letter for me that same afternoon. I would highly recommend Calley to anyone needing animal law assistance as she is extremely smart, responsive, and thorough. I can tell she puts her heart into her job and wants to help save animal lives since they cannot speak for themselves. She has a real talent in writing in a professional and compassionate manner and provided superb mediation for me during a tough time.

Tuxedo, not just a dog to me

great to work with, responded to my message very quickly, and after so many no's it made me feel happy when i called her office to talk to her and was told she was out of the office that day rescuing another dog, and i knew i had found my attorney to talk to about what had happened, very knowledgeab...le and answered all my questions and my continuing questions, gave and still gives me advice , even through i have not pursed a legal case at this time i would recommend her to anyone who loves animals as i had a lot of no's before i found Calley Gerber . no details to share as i am at this time pursing other avenues of accountability for what happened to my Tuxedo , and if i do decide to pursue a suit against the party i think is responsible for what happened to Tuxedo this attorney, will be my choice

Saving Sadie Mae

I contacted Ms Gerber about our 2yo pit bull, Sadie Mae, who had been impounded after she got out of our fenced in yard and attacked our neighbor's small dog. Sadie Mae had been a wonderful family pet for us, good with our other dog and other dogs she had been around as well our small grandchildren. ...The shelter gave us 10 days to find a rescue group because we could not keep her, but our neighbors were pushing for her to be euthanized. The shelter also seemed to be undermining our efforts to find a placement (information sheet on her crate said she had killed two dogs which was incorrect). As we were approaching the end of her time we had found a group to take her in CA, but were afraid they were going to proceed with euthanasia and not give us time to get her move arranged. Ms Gerber actually contacted me on Sunday after I sent an email on the weekend and advised us of the county ordinances and appeal process that would allow us more time to rescue Sadie Mae. When it appeared that they might be proceeding towards euthanasia she stayed in close contact with us and even found a kennel that would take her until we could get her moved to CA. Thankfully we were able to get her moved to CA and save her life. We would not have been able to do this without Ms Gerber's support and advice. She is obviously very dedicated to the rights and lives of animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing assistance in an animal-related issue.
