Kathleen Murphy

Prior to meeting Kathleen, I was represented by three attorneys with lackluster results in a 5 year, high conflict custody case. I wish I would have hired Kathleen from the start. Let me tell you, if you hear Kathleen Murphy say “We’ve got this”, then you can go take a short nap to feel safe, she doesn’t pretend to go through your case or just “look over” the details. She looks at the evidence herself not wasting the chance of an undergrad to make an undergrad mistake. I'm sure you all hear attorneys using well-trained staff who are authorized and certified to look at the evidence, but they don’t know jack squat to protect you. Kathleen started off the relationship by being kind and empathetic, and assured me she would fight for me and my children. In the end, I had to hash things out alone with my ex, because she basically gave up on getting him to agree to terms. I had to constantly call, text, and email to receive any ki...nd of response, and she was often rude and unhelpful. I felt mislead by her, and she seemed less concerned about helping me than she did about getting her fee. Once it was paid, I was no longer a priority. I would not advise anyone to hire Kathleen to represent them during a divorce or custody case.

Kathleen is amazing. I can not express my gratitude enough to her for saving me from my volatile and extremely difficult ex husband. She looked out for me and my son's best interest. She truly cares about her clients and works hard. She believed in me and was able to give me and my son the outcome we... needed. She was there during my most emotional moments and encouraged me to fight. She was definitely in my corner and I have custody of my son and look forward to working with her for the entirety of my divorce and trust that I am in the best hands. She showed no fear in the face of my violent and manipulative ex, and stood up to him and did the right thing for my child. She is in the right occupation, she is truly gifted. I am so happy to have her in my life and at my side during this crazy time. I could not disagree more with the review that says she only cares about money and does little work and doesn't answer emails. She answered ever one of my emails in a timely manner even if it was late, my texts, my phone calls, and worked hard.
