Phenomenal Attorney

Kathleen Murphy is a dedicated, sharp, and tough attorney whom has over 30 years of knowledge in law. She focused on my case as well as help educate me about how the law works in this most difficult situation during my divorce. Hiring Ms. Murphy was the best decision ever made.. she will fig...ht for you in court and get the best results I reference her to all my colleagues, family, and friends. I wish Ms Murphy even more greater success….. truly a phenomenal attorney!

Not just a lawyer, but a TRUE ADVOCATE!!!

From my first encounter watching Kathleen in court, it was obvious that she truly cared about and fought for her clients. She offered (though she represented neither of us) to help my former spouse and I resolve an issue that had left us frustrated and gridlocked. Not only was I impressed with her n...o-nonsense, get-to-the-point approach and ability to quickly resolve a seemingly impossible situation, I was thoroughly touched by her offer of kindness. I was extremely dissatisfied with the attorney I had hired and asked if I could meet with her. After JUST ONE HOUR meeting with Kathleen, I felt: * I had a better understanding of the entire separation process * I found someone who understood what I was dealing with * Finally there was a lawyer who would advocate for ME * This was a woman who KNEW HER STUFF and would GET THINGS DONE. Kathleen was very frank with me and told me: if you don't feel like I have this, then you shouldn't hire me. Kathleen has handled the legal quagmire so that I could focus my energy and time on my children and job. Its not only been a game changer, it's been a life changer. My only regret is that I didn't know about Kathleen 3 years, 2 lawyers and $$$$$ ago.

Helpful and available

I reached out to Ms Murphy to gain legal advice regarding my divorce, she was quick to respond to my message and also was willing to talk to me on the phone. She helped guide me in the right direction and made the appropriate recommendations I needed to quickly and effectively complete my divorce.

Single Father fighting for his kids

Firstly, I have professionally worked with many family law attorneys and had the opportunity to see some great ones and some "not so great" ones. However, I never worked professionally with Kathleen, but was representing myself in a nasty custody battle. I was fighting for my daughters and was strug...gling in court, mainly because I didn't lie and try to make my ex look bad. You would think that taking the high road would work....LOL. Kathleen just happened to be in court and witnessed my integrity getting destroyed by the other party. I became visibly upset and couldn't control my emotions and that is when Kathleen approached me and told me to relax, stay calm and she walked me out of court and talked me off the ledge. Kathleen told me to call her the next day, which I did. She spend a good amount of time telling me exactly what I needed to hear. She was so "to the point" and unlike other attorneys I had spoken to who could NEVER just give me a STRAIGHT answer, Kathleen didn't give me a 100 different possible outcomes or options. She told me what my rights were and what to do and what not to do...AND THAT WAS IT. I took her advice and went back to the other party and they immediately agreed to what I had put in writing! I called Kathleen, who was so happy for me. I did end up hiring her to review the agreement and have the judge sign off on it. I have since referred one person, who retained Kathleen and can't stop thanking me for the referral, as he did not have a good experience with his first attorney.

Highly recommend

Kathleen has represented my family twice. Once in a divorce where she helped me to obtain full-custody of my children. This advice has been beneficial to me and my ex-husband. As a result we have a very friendly post-marriage relationship which is always best for the children. She still continues... to represent my new husband in matters related to a suit by his ex-wife for custody of his children and unreasonable child support. This relationship has caused major rifts in the family. The ex-wife uses the children to bully our family, and won't seek counsel herself to bring final resolution to the matters on the table because she knows the legal advice Kathleen has shared is spot on. Kathleen fights for her clients and she always puts the children's well-being first.
