Our firm motto is "Comfort and Clarity During Difficulty Times" as we believe our clients are in the midst of emotional burdens and should not have to worry about whether the attorney is handling their matters. I have been a practicing divorce attorney for over 35 years and have limited my practice soley to matters involving family law.
As a wife and mother of four children, I have experience as it relates to families and the dynamics therein.
We work with all types of families including same sex relationships and believe that families are best when the parents can work towards a mediated settlement of custodial issues.
As a trial attorney, I have represented both mothers and fathers regularly and I have experience working in the child support court and the domestic violence courtroom.

Amazing
Kathleen was so professional in the court room and was on top of all the details. I couldn't have been happier with the decision to hire her to handle my custody case. She did an amazing job in the court room and saved my family. Thank you Kathleen for everything!
I really appreciate your input.

Kathleen saved me and my son
Kathleen is amazing. I can not express my gratitude enough to her for saving me from my volatile and extremely difficult ex husband. She looked out for me and my son's best interest. She truly cares about her clients and works hard. She believed in me and was able to give me and my son the outcome we...

Calm during the emotional storm!
Kathleen is an amazing attorney. As a single woman with limited income, she was willing to work with me on the billing, but she didn't treat me any different than a client who could just write a check for the whole shebang. She worked diligently and tirelessly, and in the end, I got custody of my t...

Highly recommend
Kathleen has represented my family twice. Once in a divorce where she helped me to obtain full-custody of my children. This advice has been beneficial to me and my ex-husband. As a result we have a very friendly post-marriage relationship which is always best for the children. She still continues...

Review
I filed for custody 2 weeks ago and I have a set date for orientation September 3, 2014. My daughters father went to Kathleen Murphys office today and she decided to send me a letter about their discussion. The email was rude and unprofessional adn simply not her place since she told me via email and...
I have never worked with this person nor do I agree with the facts she has alleged. Divorce is a very emotional process and to review my services based on a phone call is sometimes expected when an individual does not like what she is hearing. A rating based on a person who has never worked with our firm is not representative of our standards of care towards our clients. I have been in practice for 26 years and my practice has been entirely focused on family law matters. I have seen many situations where one party is withholding custody for money and when the law is made clear that custody and child support are not to be dependent on the other, the reaction is often anger.
"I've never seen Kathleen back down when fighting for a client who needed a strong advocate. She is not afraid to tell it like it is, which is often helpful when assisting clients through a tough divorce."
