Extremely Unprofessional

I found out 2 months later I had a failure to appear after she told me it was dismissed and she lied about what was included. Never provided me with any paperwork. Call me stupid amongst other things during our conversation.

As you are aware, your case was dismissed on the very first court date—without you needing to appear in court or take any action—despite the seriousness of the charge. Two months later, you reached out to inform me of a “call and fail” notice, which occurred due to a clerical error made by the court when entering the dismissal into the system. This was entirely outside of my control (as the clerk of court works for the court and not for me) That said, within minutes of you bringing the issue to my attention, I took immediate action, and the error was corrected. Your case remained dismissed, and you were provided with the official documentation shortly thereafter. It is concerning that you continue to make false and damaging claims, particularly given that all records clearly show your case was resolved quickly and favorably. All communication and case information is documented and verifiable—unlike the misinformation being spread. To be clear: misunderstandings about legal procedures or fees are not an excuse to make baseless accusations. If there was confusion, the appropriate course would have been to ask for clarification—not to resort to public attacks. Your initial phone call was aggressive and disrespectful from the outset. If standing up for myself while defending the outcome I achieved for you is considered "unprofessional," then I respectfully disagree. My focus was on resolving your legal matter—which I did successfully. I ended our professional relationship because of the way you treated me throughout our interactions. Writing this review as a form of retaliation is not appropriate and only reinforces why I made that decision. I handled your case with care and urgency, and the outcome speaks for itself. You were never insulted, and documentation was provided promptly upon request. The fact that you continued to post online even after receiving the documents suggests there may be other factors at play here. Regardless, I sincerely wish you well. I hope you find peace and support, and I will keep you in my thoughts. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

Highly Recommend to ALL!

Parisa was FABULOUS! She reached out to me over a misdemeanor, and even her letter was amazing. Reasonably priced, highly professional and attentive to all correspondence. I cannot say enough good things about her. Had my case dismissed with community service. HIGHLY recommend Ms. Houshmandpour ...to EVERYONE!!!

Case Dismssed

I hired Ms. Houshmandpour in June of 2023 and after a year and a half with her persistence and determination my case was dismissed and record expunged. I never once appeared in court, this was extremely helpful since I never missed a day of work. She was always very professional and kept me infor...med on every court appearance. I would definitely recommend her .

Case Dismissed

Parisa was very professional! She advised me on how to be proactive for a case against me and because of her strategic legal skills and professionalism she was able to get my charge dismissed with no court fees or volunteer work.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
