also known as Jones Collaborative Estates
It is my goal to reduce unecessary estate-related lawsuits with proactive estate planning and thoughtful estate administration. When a dispute arises nonetheless, I offer a non-lawsuit option for its resolution through the Collaborative Law method.
I practice in "estates" law, which has 3 basic components: (1) PLANNING, i.e., writing documents (2) ADMINISTRATION, i.e., putting documents into action, and (3) DISPUTE RESOLUTION, i.e., fixing issues arising in the planning and administration phase.
The best way to head-off a dispute is with a proper estate plan that is properly administered, but sometimes the water has gone under the bridge and you find yourself in a conflict nonetheless. I conducted estate law litigation (trusts, wills, powers of attorney) for over 5 years, handling several multi-million-dollar matters. Though litigation is the best choice in some cases, I realized that in most cases litigation is not the best choice because it too often needlessly sacrifices both (1) money, and (2) family relationships. The "sacrifice" is a byproduct of the nature lawsuits. This realization led me to become trained in Collaborative Law, a promising new dispute resolution method for resolving legal disputes outside of court but still achieving a legally binding resolution you can rely on. I promise to do everything in my power to aid my clients in avoiding unnecessary litigation.
The law should be and must become more accessible to the average person. I am firmly committed to being a part of that change. I do not charge for initial 1/4 hour consultations if I am not ultimately retained. My fees are competitive, but they are also flexible given certain circumstances. I have been honored to represent some clients at reduced rates, payment plans, and contingency fees. Of course, my ability to charge less in some cases stems from charging a standard rate in most cases. I would be pleased to confidentially discuss your situation with you.

Highly Recommend!
My husband and I put off creating a Will and POA because we were intimidated by the process; however, after the birth of our first child and another one on the way, we knew we couldn't afford to procrastinate our estate planning any longer. Jason guided us through every step of the process, and we ne...

Very thorough and helpful
Jason did our real estate closing. He was very thorough and made sure we understood all of the paperwork, and he made sure everything was absolutely correct and as it should be. He also did a lot of research into our property and was able to give us advice about an unnecessarily complicated easement ...
"Jason is extraordinarily smart, thorough, and diligent. Every matter I have seen him address, both in and out of court, is given the same deep level of thought and attention. He is a fantastic lawyer while still maintaining a compassionate and understanding outlook. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
"Jason is a perfect match for the high expectations I have for an established firm like Loftin and Loftin. He is extremely gifted and I understand that he is already teaching Continuing Legal Education courses to other attorneys. He excels at what he does and I expect that to continue for years to come."
"Jason Jones is a highly intelligent, dedicated, and diligent attorney. He has a an eye for close attention to detail, but still has a commanding presence in the courtroom. He is highly skilled at what he does but remains adaptable to address an array of cases and situations. I would highly recommend his representation to anyone."
"I am impressed with Mr. Jones's thoughtful advice and answers to legal questions on Avvo. He has an in-depth understanding of the law and an ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively. I endorse this lawyer!"
"Jason is an exceedingly thoughtful and intelligent counselor, and typifies professionalism in our community. He is of excellent character, and I wholeheartedly endorse him."
"I have known Jason for a number of years and have always found him to be knowledgeable and conscientious. I would not hesitate referring clients to him."
"I endorse this lawyer. I recently had the opportunity to work on a fairly complicated child custody matter which included several procedural issues. Jason does a great job of identifying and researching the issues. Not just the present issues but those that may pop up as the case moves along as well. I was very impressed by his work product, responsiveness and ability to communicate with our clients. I look forward to working with him in the future and will not hesitate to refer him to others in need of his services."
"As Jason Jones does a good amount of legal work well I wish I could endorse him for multiple areas. He is knowledgeable in criminal, family, real estate, and has a passion for American Indian law. Any questions I ever had in this areas I would certainly go to him for."
"I endorse this lawyer. Jason is a very compassionate, honest, and hardworking lawyer. He is also a very gifted writer. I am happy to have him on board."
"I attended law school with Jason and worked alongside him as a Guardian ad Litem in Orange County. He is a sensitive, compassionate, and intelligent attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. I know Jason from our time in law school together. He impressed me regarding his knowledge of the law of estate planning and his passion for practicing in that area. I understand Mr. Jones to be a lawyer of integrity who cares about those he serves and will not hesitate to refer clients to him."
