About Jennifer

Learn Jennifer’s areas of practice.

Let’s get this out of the way right now – I’m a jock, a nerd, and a lawyer. None of that is mutually exclusive.

I have been involved in competitions great and small for most of my life. Softball, math bowl, 80’s trivia, and bicycling (in a way). I like competition. I love games. I get my fill of them . . . on my time. Like everyone who plays any game, I like to win. Like anyone who plays any game, I don’t like losing.

Competition is great, in the proper venue. Family Law is emphatically not the proper venue. Family law is about resolving, fixing, healing, being reasonable, and moving on.

I devote my practice to working with clients in family law matters, including premarital agreements, domestic partnership agreements, separation and property settlement agreements, qualified domestic relations orders, appeals, and litigation involving equitable distribution, alimony, child support, and child custody. I understand the financial and emotional vulnerabilities of my clients, and I use my experience with alternative dispute resolution to resolve many disputes without litigation. Said another way, "We stop smart people from getting screwed over in the divorce process."

I am the stepmother to a teenager. I personally know the struggles of blended families and how challenging ongoing custody and financial issues can be. In addition to my personal experiences, I have more than twenty years of family law experience. I have seen a lot and dealt with an array of family issues. I understand what you are going through.

When I’m not helping clients take things off our clients' plates and shouldering some of the stress for them, you can find me in all kinds of places, like the softball diamond, my garage gym, the local bookstore, sampling wine, traveling, and, yes, still kicking butt in 80’s trivia contests.

Knowledgeable, cost-conscious and genuine
I had Jenny represent me in my separation process. From day one it was clear to me that her style of work reflected ethics and a desire for a fair settlement. Jenny is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Recognizing how the legal system works she steered me in the right direction on many occasions. She listened to me but more importantly assisted my case without ever getting into nonsensical arguments. This comforted my situation many times and ultimately led to a fair settlement where I could preserve ALL that was important to me. Jenny is the best all-around and knows how to navigate through the rather arduous process with ease and comfort. To summarize she is: 1) Skilled, able and intelligent - made sure ALL my interest was honored. 2) Responsive, thorough and organized - responded to my needs even on Christmas holidays. 3) Cost-conscious with her legal fees and never wasted my or her time

Excellent Attorney and Mediator!
I consulted with attorney Bradley for my divorce (although I practice law too) and also have seen her as a mediator. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, and will tell it to you straight. No puffery or silly gamesmanship as I have seen with other attorneys. I highly recommend Ms. Bradley as one of the top divorce attorneys in the area.

Highly Recommend
My experience with Jenny Bradley was great! She was friendly and professional, and guided me through every step of drawing up my pre-nup. I never worried, as she had my best interest at heart and she made what could have been a stressful process, seamless.

Divorce & Prenuptial Agreement
I have know Jennifer for many years now, she helped me through a divorce and now with a prenuptial agreement for me second marriage. Bottom line, she is the best when it comes to working hard for her clients. She understands your needs and works hard to get what is right for you. I would recommend Jenny to anyone who wants a "Power House" lawyer on your side!! Jenny is not only my lawyer but she is also my friend. Her assistant Chloe is also just as amazing as Jenny is.

One of the best!
Jenny has been great from the word go. She is always understanding of our needs. She has been great with follow through and execution. The best part about Jenny is that she is upfront and HONEST. She will tell you how it is. Going to court is always an emotional experience, and Jenny mitigates both very well. We couldn't ask for a better partner in our time of need.

Professional and Fair
I did not want a divorce / separation but my wife, of many years, pushed me into it through her behaviors. Jenny gave me the facts in black and white, told me what to expect and created a plan for execution. It was a very stressful time but Jenny's quick response and professionalism made it much easier. The agreement was fair enough that both parties agreed within 7 days and the deal was done. I hope I never need to use Jenny again but I sleep better knowing she is available.

Excellent support
I needed support for a prenuptial and was on a short timeframe due to my own procrastination. Jenny was very responsive and provided a quick turnaround that was right on the mark!

Someone that cares
Jenny helped me through my separation after my wife left me while I was on a business trip and took half of everything and left me via an email. It was incredible to have an attorney that not only had compassion to the situation, but also immediately gave me advice that prevented me from doing something stupid. Jenny is incredibly knowledgable and helped me navigate through the terribleness of separation. She pointed out the land mines and guided me through mediation to finally get an agreement. I highly recommend Jenny, she it a fantastic attorney and a great person.

Jennifer Bradley
Jennifer Bradley served as my lawyer through a 4 year long custody battle. Whenever I asked questions, she always ensured I had the right answers. Jenny is far from a pushover, be it in or out of court. There were many times I just felt like giving up, due to the lengthy process of court. Jenny always picked me back up and got me focused back on the big picture of what my end goal was. The attribute of Jenny I liked best was that she is always a straight shooter, you always know where you stand with her! I had a very successful outcome with my custody case and it was due largely to Jenny's part. I can’t thank her enough for her tireless effort in my case. Thank you Jenny!

Divorce help
Jenny has been most helpful thus far and is continuing to give sound advice in a clear "Non Lawyer" manner as to the realities of my case. Have in fact recommended her to others twice.

Great Experience
Going through a divorce is extremely stressful. It is a little easier when you have an attorney that is as calm and easy going as Ms. Bradley is. She was very reassuring through the entire process helping to put me at ease. I knew she always had my best interest in mind and attempted to resolve the matters quickly and efficiently. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and was able to give me some great advice. In the end the divorce was settled to my liking, and it was done so as economically as possible.

Child custody intervention
Five years ago Ms. Bradley attempted to assist us in gaining entry into the custody case involving our granddaughter. Although aware that grandparents have no rights, Ms. Bradley felt we had a valid reason for requesting the court to allow us to be party to the issue. She was straightforward with us, direct on every point of law. We were fully aware that we didn't have much of a chance. However, Ms. Bradley put forth an excellent argument and we were extremely pleased with her efforts. No, we weren't allowed to be a part of the issue, but we were very satisfied with Ms. Bradley's handling of our case. We would highly recommend her to anyone who requires a knowledgeable, attentive, honest attorney for any type of family law.

Excellence
Jenny Bradley has given me expert counsel with great attention to detail regarding my request for a fair separation agreement. From the beginning of my case, she has been straightforward and professional, while at the same time personally assuring me that she will take care of of the necessary responses to my husband's lawyer. She was very direct about what she needed from my husband's lawyer and even arranged a meeting for the two of them to sit down and clarify points of disagreement; therefore, she saved us time and endless email exchanges. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I have no doubt that my case will be resolved equitably.

This is Who You Want For Your Lawyer
Jenny came highly recommended and once I met her it was easy to why. She took the time to meet with me, listen to me and most importantly hear what I was saying. My husband walked out with no warning, so to say I was in a daze would be an understatement. Jenny is helping me through the legalities of equitable distribution and extremely difficult financial matters with the utmost professionalism and a sense of humor. She and her paralegal, Chloe are a credit to the profession. Jenny skillfully negotiated my post separation support and continues to handle my case with her extensive knowledge of the family court system, tailored to my particular situation. Frankly I think my ex husband is kind of scared of her. I have many reasons why I would recommend Jenny Bradley, but mostly she is what you want when you hire an attorney, she is an advocate for you in arguably the absolute worst crisis of your life and she gets results.

Smart but indifferent.
My general impression is that Jenny is smart and no nonsense. Perhaps a good person to watch a basketball game at the local bar. Doesn't really get riled up in the drama of the case. I liked that. She's a straight shooter. Quick to understand the situation. Very efficient and clearly has experience. Yet that's also a major problem if you have a complex case. I think she let her staff do the brunt of the work. Cheaper in the short term but miscommunication errors were made. Cost me more in the end. No apology... just blame towards me. Somehow the customers fault. Jenny said my case could not be settled. Well my next lawyer got it done at a tiny fraction of what Jenny wanted to charge me. I made the hard decision of finding a new lawyer several months prior to the trial. The difference of my new lawyer was night and day. I also had a later chance to see emails from the opposing lawyer and it was clear some of the issues were because Jenny was dropping the ball. Never responding to the opposing emails. Jenny was hard to get in contact for me as well. Emails were infrequently answered. Never was given her direct number. Voicemail/answering service was the norm when calling the office. Once again a huge difference from my new lawyer who would respond to texts and emails late at night or even on weekends. It was clear that my new lawyer was vested in my case. Likely spent late nights thinking about how the resolve this two year hellish ordeal. In stark contrast to speak to Jenny, I had to schedule a phone appointment during her normal business hours. Finally, the divorce process was a very private affair for me. I did not appreciate the US Postal letters she sent that had her huge logo written all over it "TRIANGLEDIVORCE". Should be discrete. Overall I could not in good faith recommend Jenny. I think for a straight forward case she's likely very capable. For a complex case that required some actual personal attention... I think she's not really invested to make the effort. In the end I don't think she really cared. Just another client and paycheck. Just my opinion.

Response from Jennifer Bradley January 1, 2020
Thanks for your feedback, Edward. We will take all suggestions for improvement seriously. We send PDFs via email for those who do not want to receive US Mail. Just like every person has a different personality, every lawyer has a different style. We were happy to hear you found one which met your expectations of availability. Our commitment to clients is that we do not take unscheduled incoming calls, emails or other communications when we are working on other matters. This policy allows us to be much more productive and usually results in getting cases resolved more efficiently for clients. We find this to be much better than the endless game of "phone tag" common in many industries. Email and texting are major distractions to productivity, and our policy is to have our team copied on all emails such that no email goes through the cracks while we are working on other matters. Replying to email is scheduled on our calendars. Or sometimes is scheduled as a call or an in-person meeting because a dialogue is often more productive and efficient in many situations than multiple emails in rapid-fire sequencing. I am not aware of issues going unaddressed in your matter, and I welcome a call from you to address any specifics such that we may improve your feelings of our representation, as well as improve our processes. Your email has persuaded me to provide our communication policy and availability policy in writing to all of our clients so that others do not experience the frustrations and/or misunderstandings that you have related. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We are also glad to hear in this review that your matter was able to resolve without court, which was our shared goal as well. While we cannot commit on the specifics of your cases, I would assume your ex must have hired new counsel in order for the matter to finally resolve after the hellish two years (as you called it above) and/or she finally agreed to mediation. Whichever the reason, we are happy for you and know you are happy to have the matter resolved. We wish you the best in the New Year.
