I highly recommend Mr Schempf!
I called a local law firm to see if they would take my case and they no longer practiced family law. They recommended Mr Schempf and I'm glad they did. I had a rather unusual matter with my ex-wife of 15 years. He took his time in the consultation and explained, sometimes twice (sorry!) until I understood. He and his staff are very friendly and professional; they got the job done at a very reasonable rate. I won't hesitate to contact Mr Schempf for future matters and if it's something out of his wheel house I'll confidently accept his referral.

The Best!
Bryan and his team took over a contentious divorce and made it simple, equitable, efficient, and painless. He did it in a fraction of the time I expected - and i received a refund for remainder of the initial retainer! what a treat! honest, trustworthy, clever, and tenacious-- the best! Kudos to a 'Switched On' legal team in the whole office.

Dignity and professionalism
Mr. Schempf exudes confidence, his presence in the courtroom is nothing less than commanding. You will feel as though you are his only client from day one. He is more than prepared for whatever is brought up, almost as if he can read opposing counsels mind. Never have I seen a more professional, prepared Atny . He fights for you as if you were part of his family. I can not recommend him and his staff enough....C

I do, I did and finally I'm done with Mr. Shempf's help!
In a very long and drawn out divorce case (2 1/2 years) Mr. Schempf aided me in various atypical scenarios in a very professional manner. He asked pointed questions to ensure the documentation reflected my desires in the agreement. Mr. Schempf was always very prompt in responding to correspondence via email. I can honestly say he went the extra mile representing me and negotiating on my behalf. He saw me through to the bitter end. I would recommend him for legal counsel.

Outstanding and Responsive Lawyer
I was recommended Mr. Bryan Schempf for hire for my divorce lawyer through a friend who had hired Mr. Schempf himself. I could not have been happier with how professional and responsive he was for me. It was straight to business, and it was carried out as quickly and painlessly as possible. I am very satisfied, and just recommended Mr. Schempf to a friend of mine as well.

Strongly Recommend Bryan
I hired Bryan to help me get through a divorce with custody agreement. Not only was he extremely professional, but I have never worked with anyone more responsive. It didn't matter the day of the week or the time, Bryan had answers for me quickly. He helped guide me in what felt like very emotional decisions in a very logical way. In addition, and probably most importantly, he has a "sixth sense" in terms of sniffing out things that should be investigated further. There were some items in my case that didn't sit well with him, and after doing some digging on his part, he came up with strong information I would have never thought to look for. I would strongly recommend him to anyone in need of a lawyer, and have already given his name to several others in the area.

Divorce and child custody, very much satisfied
In the last two years Mr. Bryan H. Schempf helped me with my divorce and child custody issues. When I realized that divorce cannot be avoided I interviewed three lawyers. I chose Mr. Schempf, and, from the opening salvo to final decree, I never regretted my choice. Mr. Schempf turned out to be very knowledgeable, highly punctual and amazingly efficient. I always received prompt replies to my questions from Mr. Schempf and his assistant, Pam Denney. At every step of the process, Mr. Schempf showed me different options and explained their pros and cons. Mr. Schempf was a great listener, and he showed attention to every tiny detail of my story. When he learned the details, he always knew the next step. In some instances, Mr. Schempf had more than one solution, and he explained me possible outcomes for each of them. Moreover, he never pushed me to make a choice. At every turn I felt that the decision was mine. I am very much satisfied with both the way that Mr. Schempf arranged my divorce and the outcome of my divorce process. I highly recommend Mr. Shempf as one of the best family law attorneys in Yorktown area.

Highly Recommend Mr. Schempf and his Team
I interviewed a couple attorneys to handle my divorce and I knew right away Mr. Schempf was the person I was meant to have represent me. From our initial meeting I noticed a different set of listening skills that the other lawyers did not possess. Pending divorce can be a low point in life, and I was instantly relieved of much of the stress knowing that I had a fair and competent lawyer taking my case. Mr. Schempf was highly responsive when I had questions, responding immediately at all hours, which always made me feel as though my case was a top priority for him. Along the way he offered sage advice and guidance that helped me stay on top of the negotiations. If you are looking for someone who can represent you with integrity and outstanding results, I highly recommend Mr. Schempf and his support team !

Customized service
Bryan was recommended to me by another professional in the community who is also a friend. She was aware of some of the problems I'd had in coming to an acceptable divorce settlement without involving some areas of marital property I had legal claim to. Bryan has wonderful listening skills and heard me out as to the reasons I wanted to take the path I did. While he presented all the options for me to consider, he knew that I had done extensive reading on my own, and let me be in control of the final outcome. My custom-tailored divorce was handled as professionally as I could have ever wished. I also saw him for advice on a property I am buying, and I am anxious to see him again to handle my estate plan.

Property Settlement Agreement/Divorce
Bryan Schempf was recommended to me by a friend and local Judge. After almost 3 years of unsuccessful negotiations, he was able to guide and assist both sides to a successful resolution without going to court. Bryan handles the sensitivity of issues and personal matters confidentially. He is a great listener and uses your thoughts to devise the most effective strategy in handling your case. His recommendations were based on experience and backed by research. He maintains constant contact with his clients, ensuring you are confident he is interested and engaged in your case. His office (especially Pam) is extremely competent, compassionate and caring. I am not the person who routinely reviews products or experiences, but I felt it responsible to highly recommend Mr. Schempf for consideration. I was extremely happy with his handling of a very stressful experience; I think you will also be pleased with Mr. Schempf as your attorney.

Thank you for your service.
Mr. Schempf and his team helped me every step of the way while I had no clue what to do. He explained every move needed and what was in my best interest. He allowed me to make my own decisions, but educated me along the way . I highly recommend him and his staff. Very professional and made me very comfortable. There were times late in the evening when Mr. Schempf would contact me just to see if I was ok. Who does that? This guy does. Not only have I found a great attorney, I feel like I have found a friend.I thank him and his team for their hard work on my behalf.

Excellent Lawyer
• I recommend Bryan Schempf. • I hired Bryan in July 2011. • Bryan handled my Child Custody matter and Divorce. Mr. Schempf represented me in my divorce and child custody matters. I had a very rugged divorce where my rich wife tried to use her trust fund money and manipulation to take my son and throw me to the wolves. She spent around 360,000 dollars over the course of two years trying to crush me. Mr. Schempf took on all three of her lawyers like a champ. I didn’t have a lot of money, but he said he wouldn’t give up on me. He allowed me to pay him payments, and his fees were very reasonable. Bryan got me an "amazing" custody agreement, and got me divorced from her. It was an uphill battle, but this guy is good. It definitely takes a lot of time to fight money and manipulation, and the courts in VA aren’t about a speedy process. His opinions were always right. Sometimes I would not understand exactly what was going on. He would explain it to me and then ask me what I wanted to do. I always took his advice, and he his ideas were always great. I still get earfuls from my ex-wife on how much she dislikes him (he made her lawyers look bad, and they were some of the best around). If you get a chance to use this man as your lawyer, do it!

Excellent help for my divorce
Bryan had good advice . Encouraged me not to go to court even though he would clearly have had more billing hours if we had. I honestly believe he put my interests first. I highly recommend Mr. Schempf

100% satisfied out of state client
Mr. Schempf was very knowledgeable of the law, current court system as well as current tendencies and worked to achieve solutions that didn’t waste anyone’s time. Mr. Schempf took the time to know what the real problems were, and what the desired outcomes were as well as developed a plan that achieved those outcomes. As an out of town/state client, Mr. Schempf made himself available to me often at unusual business times to ensure he was able to respond to developments as they happened in my case. Not only am I extremely happy with the results of my case with Mr. Schempf, during the process his guidance has helped me better understand the entire family dynamic and not just my point of view. I would highly recommend Mr. Schempf for any legal needs you may have!

Mr. Schempf handled my legal needs in a professional and timely manner. His communication skills were effective in gathering relative info to organize and move through the legal process. Mr. Schempf and his legal assistant Pam Denney kept me informed and up to date from the beginning until the successful completion of my case. I have referred a friend to Mr. Schempf who also feels very fortunate to have his legal representation.
