Divorce and child custody, very much satisfied

In the last two years Mr. Bryan H. Schempf helped me with my divorce and child custody issues. When I realized that divorce cannot be avoided I interviewed three lawyers. I chose Mr. Schempf, and, from the opening salvo to final decree, I never regretted my choice. Mr. Schempf turned out to be very k...nowledgeable, highly punctual and amazingly efficient. I always received prompt replies to my questions from Mr. Schempf and his assistant, Pam Denney. At every step of the process, Mr. Schempf showed me different options and explained their pros and cons. Mr. Schempf was a great listener, and he showed attention to every tiny detail of my story. When he learned the details, he always knew the next step. In some instances, Mr. Schempf had more than one solution, and he explained me possible outcomes for each of them. Moreover, he never pushed me to make a choice. At every turn I felt that the decision was mine. I am very much satisfied with both the way that Mr. Schempf arranged my divorce and the outcome of my divorce process. I highly recommend Mr. Shempf as one of the best family law attorneys in Yorktown area.

Customized service

Bryan was recommended to me by another professional in the community who is also a friend. She was aware of some of the problems I'd had in coming to an acceptable divorce settlement without involving some areas of marital property I had legal claim to. Bryan has wonderful listening skills and h...eard me out as to the reasons I wanted to take the path I did. While he presented all the options for me to consider, he knew that I had done extensive reading on my own, and let me be in control of the final outcome. My custom-tailored divorce was handled as professionally as I could have ever wished. I also saw him for advice on a property I am buying, and I am anxious to see him again to handle my estate plan.

Excellent Lawyer

• I recommend Bryan Schempf. • I hired Bryan in July 2011. • Bryan handled my Child Custody matter and Divorce. Mr. Schempf represented me in my divorce and child custody matters. I had a very rugged divorce where my rich wife tried to use her trust fund money and manipulation to take my so...n and throw me to the wolves. She spent around 360,000 dollars over the course of two years trying to crush me. Mr. Schempf took on all three of her lawyers like a champ. I didn’t have a lot of money, but he said he wouldn’t give up on me. He allowed me to pay him payments, and his fees were very reasonable. Bryan got me an "amazing" custody agreement, and got me divorced from her. It was an uphill battle, but this guy is good. It definitely takes a lot of time to fight money and manipulation, and the courts in VA aren’t about a speedy process. His opinions were always right. Sometimes I would not understand exactly what was going on. He would explain it to me and then ask me what I wanted to do. I always took his advice, and he his ideas were always great. I still get earfuls from my ex-wife on how much she dislikes him (he made her lawyers look bad, and they were some of the best around). If you get a chance to use this man as your lawyer, do it!

Integrity and Professionalism

Mr. Schempf proved himself to be an effective lawyer when handling my divorce case. He was both knowledgeable and informative and worked with me to reach a positive solution to my issues. He has assisted me in other family issues as well by offering prompt advice. His professionalism and integrity ...as well as the kindness and understanding he showed me and my family during a difficult time lead me to recommend him to anyone I know who is in need of a good lawyer.
