Excellent Lawyer

• I recommend Bryan Schempf. • I hired Bryan in July 2011. • Bryan handled my Child Custody matter and Divorce. Mr. Schempf represented me in my divorce and child custody matters. I had a very rugged divorce where my rich wife tried to use her trust fund money and manipulation to take my so...n and throw me to the wolves. She spent around 360,000 dollars over the course of two years trying to crush me. Mr. Schempf took on all three of her lawyers like a champ. I didn’t have a lot of money, but he said he wouldn’t give up on me. He allowed me to pay him payments, and his fees were very reasonable. Bryan got me an "amazing" custody agreement, and got me divorced from her. It was an uphill battle, but this guy is good. It definitely takes a lot of time to fight money and manipulation, and the courts in VA aren’t about a speedy process. His opinions were always right. Sometimes I would not understand exactly what was going on. He would explain it to me and then ask me what I wanted to do. I always took his advice, and he his ideas were always great. I still get earfuls from my ex-wife on how much she dislikes him (he made her lawyers look bad, and they were some of the best around). If you get a chance to use this man as your lawyer, do it!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
