Scott Michael Ehrenworth

Scott is a rare gem in the legal world, he is honest, true and his energy is insane! He believes in the rights of his clients and ain’t afraid to show it! I am not easily impressed but Scott totally knocked my socks off! If I ever get into something dealing in his caliber of law I am most definitely ...going to put my money on he again and again.

“I don’t like to lose.” Those were the first words Scott Ehrenworth said to me when I brought him my case, and true to form he was able to get my reckless driving charge, (which can carry some steep penalties!) dismissed completely. He talked me through a plan to go about the case and made sure that ...I was prepared at every step of the way so that I was in the best position possible when my court date came. And when it came to court he tenaciously fought the case, always working towards the best outcome. He chipped away at the charge against me until his actions and plans laid out both before and in court left the judge to agree to dismiss my case entirely. I was pulled over for reckless driving due to excessive speed. I was very worried about facing possible jail time and how this could impact my job. Luckily I hired Scott after getting a recommendation from another attorney my family knows. Scott was a terrific lawyer. He was calm, reassuring, and of...fered a clear game plan on how we could get a good outcome. After following his advice to take some proactive steps prior to our court date (speedometer calibration, driving improvement program, etc.) we pleaded my case and the judge ended up reducing my sentence to improper driving. Long story short, I visited from a state eight hours away to see some concerts at Hampton Coliseum. Within hours of being on location, I was apprehended with an embarrassing amount of illegal narcotics on my person which also led to a search of my hotel room. I was incarcerated for five days and chan...ces of bond seemed bleak as I was visiting from another state. Scott kept my expectations in check while also reassuring me that he was working hard to get me out of jail. I was able to post bond and return to my home state while I awaited trial. Upon my return, Scott worked diligently to get me a no jail time, no fine deal from the prosecuting attorney. A charge resulting from the hotel search was not prosecuted, and the remaining three felony with intent to distribute charges will be reduced to simple possession after a period of toxicology monitoring in two years. I will not have any fines or jail time so long as I do not reoffend during my suspended sentence. In addition to this amazing outcome, Scott was able to convince the prosecutor that marijuana consumption should be exempt from violating these conditions so long as I obtain a proper medical card in my home state. I am thankful I have hired this attorney who helped me understand this process while also comforting me while extremely upset about my own life choices. I believe that Scott stayed involved and really did care about the final outcome of this case. I was not just a number to him which made it easier for me to make some very drastic life changes. Without Scott as my attorney, there is no doubt in my mind that I would still be sitting in jail for years to come.
