EXCELLENT ATTORNEY

She represented me and helped with my children when my ex-husband lived in another state. She stayed in constant contact with me. She made sure I stayed calm during the hearing and made sure my children were safe. Would definitely hire her again!

Unfit careless attorney

She was assigned to my children’s case and had my kids taken from me and given to their father who lives across country, my children were uprooted from their home, school, family and friends and given to their abusive father who continues to control their lives and is a very angry man. I was made to l...ook like an unfit parent when my kids missed a lot of school surrounding Covid. She made a horrible decision, she never listened to my children’s opinions or mine and went with the parent that made more money. This was a very cruel decision and was very careless. She seems to have too many cases and never really listens or cares about the outcome of the children . Decisions can’t be undone. She has no heart.

As I was not your lawyer and did not represent you in Court, my response is limited in scope. The Judge is the ultimate decision maker in all cases, and takes into consideration, fairly, all evidence. Given that the facts of your case were such that the Court decided to remove your children from your full time care, your remedy was to appeal that decision to a higher court.

Child Abuse Case

Thank you for helping our baby grandson! He is in good care now. He was abuse by my daughters ex and she fought hard for him. We are so grateful.

Worst attorney conduct

Not a reputable Attorney. Her clients are children. Yet she called talking to them "baggering" them. Her office mailed me another person's private background paperwork and I paid to immediately return it to her office. I never got even so much as a thank you. She broke attorney client privilege in ...the hallway of the courthouse and she accepted a case, got paid, and never filed a report with the court. Her business appearance and behavior's are not court like. And she doesn't follow Virginias laws regarding her clients rights and her duties. There is no oversight however with the current Virginia Beach JD& R court system. Four "new' judges and only 6 preside...

As I was not your lawyer and did not represent you in Court, my response is limited in scope. However, all of the Judges in the jurisdiction you cited are excellent and highly competent. It is the practice of all Guardians to conduct child interviews according to their needs, and not to unnecessarily weary children with every whim of the parties in litigation. You may always appeal a Judge's decision you are unhappy with, or contact the State Bar for review of any valid ethical concerns.

Spoke on behalf of me.

I would just like to say, from an ex child in the courts, I was not satisfied. Margaret Weaver represented me when I was nine years old, nine years ago. She argued for me to continue going to my dad's while she argued for my sister to cease to visit him. My family was torn apart and now I don't talk ...to my dad. Thanks Margaret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart truly goes out to you. As a child, these things are so difficult when caught between two dueling parents. I am happy to share your file with you, and answer any questions about the Judge's decision. The Court's do the best they can with very little information sometimes. Please contact my office and I will share your case file so you will have truthful / factual clarity and hopefully some answers. I hope for you to find peace following a difficult time in the court system as a child, which is truly a terrible situation. Call anytime, I will make all the time you need.
