Spoke on behalf of me.
I would just like to say, from an ex child in the courts, I was not satisfied. Margaret Weaver represented me when I was nine years old, nine years ago. She argued for me to continue going to my dad's while she argued for my sister to cease to visit him. My family was torn apart and now I don't talk ...
My heart truly goes out to you. As a child, these things are so difficult when caught between two dueling parents. I am happy to share your file with you, and answer any questions about the Judge's decision. The Court's do the best they can with very little information sometimes. Please contact my office and I will share your case file so you will have truthful / factual clarity and hopefully some answers. I hope for you to find peace following a difficult time in the court system as a child, which is truly a terrible situation. Call anytime, I will make all the time you need.

As I was not your lawyer and did not represent you in Court, my response is limited in scope. The expectation that a Guardian would be concerned over a "parent's case" is a misconception. That is only one consideration. The law requires representation of the child's interests, which are not always perfectly aligned with just one parent's opinion. Ultimately, the Court's look at the child as the primary focus. Appeal is always an option if you felt the Court did not give your opinion appropriate weight.
