I am very fortunate to have Mr. Remington from Riley & Wells represent my case and argue to have my Reckless driving case dismissed. The fee is nothing compared to all I have been saved from; a misdemeanor, jail time, suspension of license and points on my driving record, among others. I had been pulled over and the police officer stated I was going 86 mph in a 70 mph zone on I-95. After the last ticket in Virginia I made a habit of setting cruise control and was shocked at the alleged speed. I am from out of state and was hoping for a reduction in charges. In VA, going over 80 is ...a misdemeanor, the same as a DUI! Suddenly, I had a lot more to worry about than 6 points and a huge ticket plus increase in insurance. My attorney can and did represent me in court without me being there, a huge benefit for a person out of state (or anyone with a job). Mr. Remington got my case DISMISSED!!! He said the dismissal was based on a technicality, but honestly once I heard dismissed I was zoned out due to immense relief. I would recommend Mr. Remington to anyone who gets pulled over. You shouldn't expect a dismissal, a reduction in charges I feel is reasonable. The flat rate was within reason, especially as I'd rather pay a lawyer than the county.
