I'm sorry that you felt your consultation was not a good experience. There are very specific requirements for what constitutes a wrongful termination in Virginia, and the advice you received explained those very requirements. The failure of a company to follow their stated policies or misrepresenting their intentions in a conversation with an employee does not constitute a wrongful termination. Out of compassion for an obvious upsetting situation, I also provided you with free legal advice, and provided you with more time than usual to express your concerns.
