Michael (Mike) La Fratta has to be one of the most professional, and versed, attorneys I have ever met. Mike represented me on a case regarding a criminal show-cause that was filed by my ex-girlfriend for support issues. He came to court, sharply dressed and completely squared away, and on time. Upon... arrival he met with me and assured that everything was going to be just fine. That made me relax in the courtroom which was absolutely needed. During this slanderous case that was presented to the Judge by my ex, Mike shot down every accusation or ill-willed remark that was made towards my character as a providing father. My favorite quote by him during this case, and I'll paraphrase from memory, "You're Honor, this is not a case of a deadbeat dad, who doesn't pay his child support or has no regard for his child." Mike is straightforward and tactful with every comment he makes in the courtroom. He will continue to make you feel comfortable with any argument that will arise with his quick and accurate responses. He will listen to you and any concerns you may have. Mike's work ethic is unrivaled as showed by his follow-ups with email and phone calls shortly after having surgery. Mind you, Mike was a court appointed attorney for my case. He showed the same level of professionalism and care for me, as he would for someone who may have hired him privately. Michael La Fratta represented our daughter on DUI charges and felony charges associated with the DUI. He worked well with her and kept us aprised of everything throughout the legal process.
