I had a very acrimonious divorce and went thru several local attorneys before finding Britney. She impressed very the very start. She’s organized, articulate and she knows what she’s doing. Divorce can be difficult to navigate when dealing with a difficult ex (custody, marital property, harassmen...

Britney McPheron is a strong gifted lawyer and genuinely kind human being. When my daughter’s father began suing her and me, we turned to Britney for help to stop his bullying. Britney McPheron was very compassionate as my daughter described the abuse to which she had been subjected on visitations ov...

Mrs McPheron was on my legal plan and I essentially choose her because of that. I was worried about it essentially being a 'free' service, but she was great. I didn't have a lot of issues (no custody battles), but there still is so much. She was very patient answering any questions and even after the...

I do not think that the 4000 characters that this text box allows is enough to properly describe how amazing and remarkable Britney is. Britney was retained last minute to represent me in a nasty custody battle within a week of the trial date. Between Britney and April, they put together a powerful p...

I had hired her for a custody case just for her to leave me six grand in the hole and leave the law firm in the middle of the case. And to top it off she basically told my exs lawyer it would be better to "table the matter" since she was leaving and did absolutely nothing to help my case. She then tr...
When I left my previous firm back in October of 2015, all of the clients whose cases I had worked on were given 3 options: they could follow me to my new firm, in which case I would bring their file with me; they could stay at the current firm and have another attorney assigned to their case; or they could choose to hire different counsel altogether. All of my clients were provided with notice and their options at the same time I gave my two week notice to the law firm. I strive to serve each case and client zealously. Family law is not a one-size fits all. There are some situations that drive costs higher than others, especially if things are contentious or there are court hearings. At my previous firm, all billing was handled by the managing attorney and his billing team. I would encourage you to reach out to that firm if you have a question about a bill.
"I have worked with Britney for two years now. I find her to be a passionate and dedicated advocate for her clients. She immerses herself in her client's cases and understands the emotional hurdles families go through during a divorce. She guides her clients through this challenging process and makes sure they are well represented when it comes to equitable distribution, child custody, child support, spousal support, and all the other facets of Family Law. I highly recommend Britney. She is a Rising Star in RVA Family Law. You will not be disappointed."
"Britney is a passionate advocate for her clients. She works tirelessly to make sure her clients get the best possible outcome. Incredibly friendly and well liked. Aggressive and zealous when needed."
