Like so many, I did not know where to turn when seeking a family lawyer. Having never been in a situation that involved social services I was going down a list of google searches trying to find legal assistance. Some offices did not return my calls, one office outsourced my call to a help desk in Cal...ifornia who would determine if my case was worthwhile, and others would only assist if I paid over the phone first before telling me if they could even help. I left a voicemail with Mr. LaFratta's office and received a call later in the afternoon while at work so I was unable to take the call. However, he sent me a text identifying himself and asking for some information which made me feel comfortable he went this extra mile as oppose to just waiting to see if I would call back. He was patient and kind as I continued to ask questions and determine the route I wanted to go with my case with social services. His knowledge, demeanor, and truthful take on my situation put me at ease and I trusted him whole heartedly. Even though I knew I was not his only client, I always felt as if I had his undivided attention. Not once, did he make me feel as if I was a mistake for being in the situation I was in. A year and half later, he has won my case and has lifted a weight off my shoulders. He called me to inform me that we won our case, and I was ecstatic. But what made it all the more personal, was a message he sent me later in the evening saying "I am so happy for you". This is how personally involved he is in his clients. I sincerely appreciate everything you have done sir.

Mr Michael La Fratta done such a wonderful job representing my son who is dealing with a mental disability.My heart was relieved when the verdict came down all charges dropped and one was a felony. He met with us in his office and clearly made the understanding of what to expect in court. Walk with u...s through the whole process and the outcome was wonderful.

I was very nervous as I had never been to court before. La Fratta got me all the information I needed to step back and put things into perspective. I was able to calm down and he went right to work. La Fratta got me in and out of the court room in 10 minutes, the judge actually interupted him askin...g him to wrap up because the case he presented was so airtight. If anything ever happens to you, La Fratta is a guy you can count on, and if I ever find myself in a troubling position again I know exactly who I'll be calling.

I went on avvo looking for lawyers for my first ever offense in general court and I came across Michael. He answered my questions with a consultation and I hired him! Throughout the 3 months of waiting for court he gave me excellent advise on doing my class and community service so when we went to co...urt everything could be settled. We went to court today and the judge dismissed my case all thanks to Mr. La Fratta! I could call or email him anytime of the day and he would answer and did everything he could to help me. I hope to never need another attorney but if I do it will be Michael!!
