Bryan J Jones

A car accident resulted in a reckless driving citation issued 10 hrs from home. We were already shaken up from the accident and the police officer told me there was a possibility of jail time. We decided to hire a lawyer and I am glad we chose Bryan. After asking me some questions about the acciden...t (I wasn't under the influence, no distracted driving, no speeding, clean driving record) he told me that he thought he could get the ticket dismissed. He went to court on my behalf, so I didn't have to travel back to Virginia, and he called after court with great news---the judge had agreed to dismiss the charges. Such a great result, and it was so easy to work with him. The whole case was handled from start to finish in a few (I think 2 or 3) phone calls. Thanks Bryan!!

I'm leaving this review to help those who find themselves in the situation I did, which was needing an attorney in another state. While visiting Virginia from out of state, I was issued a summons for a moving violation. There was no way I could return to Virginia for the court hearing so if I was goi...ng to dispute it, I needed an advocate that was local. I received several solicitation letters regarding the court filing, but ended up hiring a firm that assigned my case to Bryan. He was very thoughtful with his advice and approach to my particular case, went to the hearing on my behalf and ended up with a dismissal of the charges. There simply was not a better outcome possible and I obviously would recommend him.

Mr Jones was professional and well informed and experienced with court system in Charlottesville. He informed me of exactly what would happen and what the judge had to decide. I needed some info on my "major" speeding tickets, what to do, who to talk to, what my options were, etc. After talking to several lawyers and not getting anywhere except hearing about how much they wanted to get paid, I called Mr. Jones, who took a good 30 minutes to talk to me about everything, ans...wered all the questions I had perfectly, advised me on a previous ticket, and even directed me to a lawyer that handled federal cases. Mr. Jones was very knowledgeable, and was first and foremost interested in helping before any talk of payment came up, unlike other lawyers. I would definitely hire him.
