Andrew Flusche represented me in court recently and I am so grateful for the results. I was charged with passing a school bus which is a criminal reckless driving charge (misdemeanor) in VA. Andrew spoke to me before I even signed with him and gave me advice on what to do before going to court to sh...ow the court I take this very seriously. I did community service, took an online driving course, and had two character references written on my behalf to present to the court. I was driving home, coming from a funeral in North Carolina. It was late, and I was tied. I have been on the go all day. I left Maryland that morning around... 6:30 am headed to Wilson, NC for a friend funeral. Wilson is a 5-hour drive. I left Wilson around 7:45 pm headed home. I gave off of I-95 onto Rt 207 headed to Rt 301 around 10:35 pm. I remember saying to myself when you turn on to Rt. 207 slow down. For those of you who are not familiar with Rt. 207 & 301, the speed limit down dramatically. I-95 speed limit is 70 MPH, while Rt. 207 & 301 is 55 MPH. I look at my speed (73 MPH) and said to my friend let me slow down, I forget I'm on Rt 301 (I was really, still on Rt. 207). As soon as I said that I look up at my rearview mirror and saw the police. So, I pulled to the side of the road and stopped (disappointed in myself). The police approach the car and asked me if I knew why he stopped me. My reply was "yes, speeding". He proceeded and said he clocked me at 73 (no argument there), but by the time he caught up with me I was doing 83. I thought to myself really; remember I had just look at my speed and it was 73. Anyway, the policeman asked me for my driver license and registration; and I happy obliged. He took it and when to his car. When he returned, he gave me a ticket for reckless driving. The ticket cited me for during 83 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. I said to the police, I thought you was going to give me a break. He replied, "Ma'am you were doing 83 in a 55 zone"! I smiled and said thank you, have a good evening. My reply startled him, but he replied, "you do the same. And remember the speed is 55 MPH all the way to the Maryland line. I said, "yes Sir, thank you"! About after I got this ticket, I started receiving advertisements about Virginia traffic laws and penalties. At first, I just trashed them, because I was going to just show up for my court date and tell the judge my story. I figure I would just pay the fine and that would be it. But I kept getting these advertisements from lawyers. It that started to worry me. So, I decided search the internet to find out about Virginia traffic laws. I found all this information about reckless driving being a misdemeanor in Virginia; and not only would I have to pay a fine, but if I was found guilty my license could be provoked, I could lose security clearance, have a criminal record for 3 years, and go to prison. It that point, I ask God to lead me. The next day, I received an advertisement from Andrew Flusche. I google him and find a Youtube video of him explaining Virginia Traffic laws and reckless driving cases. Mr. Flusche gave me a in depth overview of what I made be facing, as well as options use in my defense. **Now, I understand why the policeman mentioned, went he stopped me I was doing 83 MPH.** So, I decided to call him to find what he would change to defense me. When I called his office, the young lady asked me some question and schedule a time with me to talk with Mr. Flusche via telephone. Mr. Flusche called me at the scheduled time. We talked for a minute or two, then he said if I hired him, he would have to change my court date because he had a previously scheduled engagement with his church on that date. Wow, church engagement... that was my confirmation. I hired him. Mr. Flusche send me a contract, which I singed and return immediately. I was assigned a case manager. All transactions and conversation were conducted via computer and telephone (remember I live Maryland. I followed all Mr. Flusche advice and today I received that bless phone call...CASE DISMISSED! Thank to Mr. Flusche, I have peace of mind concerning my future and job!
