Ms. Banks did nothing for me. She didn't answer one of my emails as promised in the contract, and returned one phone call in a 6 month time frame. Without getting into my specific case, she filed my divorce, sent one letter, and that was it. After 6 months she turned my case over to a new partner who... had no time to review my case before court. I wasted my time and money. I was told that it didn't matter if the opposing side did not send in their answers until after 60 days was ok and the opposing side was able to file a legal document dismissing the tardiness. She became angry with me because I questioned this. After court, which I lost, she terminated the contract for insufficient evidence, but told me a different reason. I had to hire another attorney 10 days prior to another deadline, which I did. I think it was a blessing in disguise.

My experience was great, if I had a question or concern about my anything. They would answered to my satisfaction. Hello, My case was a complicated international custody case. Before I secured the services of Ms. Banks, I was working with an attorney that didn't show empathy for my case and was terrible at getting back to me. Then, I started looking for a new attorney and interviewed three family law prac...titioners. Of the three, Ms. Banks was the only one that showed compassion, competency and had a grasp of the facts of the case in our first meeting. During the entire process, the communication was great. Ms. Banks (or her Legal Assistant, Ms. Asghar) would follow up with me over the phone or via email, and they would always return my calls. Ms. Asghar was equally competent as she was the one dealing with service of process overseas. There were ups and downs during the process but during the hearing we obtained sole and full custody for my children which was more than what we anticipated.
