Me and my family had been pulled over and searched 3 times in a one week period. All 3 times the cops claimed they pulled us over because we went over the line, which was a lie & all 3 times they said their dog detected heroin, methamphetamine or ecstacy & they found neither of those any of the times... we were pulled over. However, on the last stop after searching yet again for an hour, they were letting us go but then decided to search our person. When doing so, they found a suboxone in my wallet that I had forgot was there because it had been there for months. I'm a recovering heroin addict and there's a heroin epidemic going on so I kept the suboxone incase I ever got a craving, I knew I wouldn't be able to use. Well the officer told my girlfriend that I was getting arrested and that he really didn't want to arrest me for something that petty & it was a waste of paperwork but he would let me go if I cooperated. When we got to the station, he asked me who was doing burglaries and I told him I didn't know, I was on parole & don't hang around people that do that kind of stuff. Well the cop swore I was lying and locked me up. I bailed out & was scared to death because I was backing up 8 years plus 4 years for the suboxone. The cop even went as far as to call my probation officer and ream her out for not violating me before I was found guilty. Rombro took my case & I was thinking at the best I would get maybe 3 years.. he actually went in there and got my charges null prossed. I had planned to take it to a jury trial just to buy myself more time before going to prison but Rombro pointed out that it was an illegal stop & search & actually got the charges dropped. This man saved my life & did more than I thought any lawyer could do. I had put my life on hold, quit college & just knew I was going away for a few years. But now I have my life back and I can start my school work back up to better my life. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a real lawyer that will really look into and fight your case.
