Highly regarded for his preparation and persistence, Irwin Kramer has served as lead counsel on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, and businesses throughout the world in complex civil lawsuits, commercial and real estate cases, intellectual property and media law, class action lawsuits, serious personal injury, professional liability and business disputes. Representing Maryland legislators challenging the constitutionality of the largest tax increase in state history, Mr. Kramer made headlines when his investigation revealed a conspiracy to forge and to falsify legislative records during the Special Session of 2007.

Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys, this former law professor has taught at some of the most prestigious law schools in the nation, and continues to publish and to lecture nationally on trial advocacy and legal ethics. Dedicated to making the law "user-friendly" for those who must live by it, Mr. Kramer founded The Legal Television Network, where he produces features designed to enhance public access to legal information. Nationally, Mr. Kramer has also hosted legal programs on C-SPAN, and appears regularly as legal analyst for Sinclair Broadcast Group and its Baltimore flagship stations. In 2016, the Governor appointed him to serve on the Public Broadcasting Commission which oversees the operations of Maryland Public Television.
After graduating summa cum laude from Towson University, Mr. Kramer earned his Juris Doctor with high honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he won the school's moot court championship and was inducted into the Order of the Coif for his high academic standing. He received a Master of Laws degree from Columbia University School of Law and served as a Vice President of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association of Washington, D.C. Irwin,a man of his word. Very trustworthy and works very hard. Gets involved and wants to know everything to be sure that he understands all what is needed for the case that he is working on. Did a great job for us,and let the other side know that this was not a game. I would recommed him on any case...
"I worked with Irwin for over three years prosecuting an intense insurance dispute case. Even after our case ended, I continue to develop an admiration of his skills. Irwin is a zealous defender of his clients' interests. His knowledge of the litigation process, responsiveness and creative insight led to a favorable outcome in our case. As Irwin has tremendous experience doing both plaintiff's and defense work, he knows how to use that knowledge to win. I also found him to have the utmost integrity and would certainly recommend him to others."
"Having served as a judicial law clerk in one of Maryland's trial courts, I had the opportunity to observe hundreds of courtroom lawyers ply their trade. At the conclusion of my clerkship, I believed that I had seen the full gamut of litigation styles and skills. This was before meeting Irwin Kramer. When Mr. Kramer enters a courtroom, he comes equipped with a highly incisive grasp of the law and the facts of the case. Through tireless and smart preparation, he readies himself for the tactics and arguments of his opponents. Once the curtain rises, Mr. Kramer aggressively and intelligently advocates on behalf of his clients to great effect. From opening statement to closing argument, this attorney spares no effort or action to achieve the results his clients desire. His courtroom acumen is in a class of its own."
"I have known him for 10 years and he is a very bright, honest and excellent attorney. I fully reccomend him."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Irwin and I worked on several very complicated and challenging litigated cases. My sincere impression is that Irwin is not only an intelligent, personable and competent attorney, he diligently investigates, analyzes and understands each case to the minutest detail before proceeding to litigation. Once the case is in litigation, Irwin is thoroughly prepared and his competence has resulted in favorable results in all matters in which we were involved. Irwin is a "lawyer's lawyer"."
"I first knew him as "Professor Kramer" and later as a respected colleague. Mr. Krameralways impresses me with his vast knowledge of the law and unique sensitivity to the individual situation of every person. I highly recommend his services."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Excellent practical and cost effective handling of litigated matters."
"A smart and tenacious trial lawyer who advocates tirelessly for his clients, Irwin is the lawyer you want when you face a tough legal challenge. I give him my highest recommendatin and endorse him without reservation."
