Gary S Bernstein

I hired Gary when my son got into trouble. It was a very difficult case that dragged on for months. Gary was always responsive to our calls, emails and texts, and secured the best possible outcome for my son. He also gave him good advice along the way which on how to avoid making a mistake like this ...ever again. Gary knows the Towson court system and people working there very well, and they all know and respect him and that is a big advantage. I highly recommend Gary.

Gary handled my fathers DUI and It went well. So I called Gary when I got one a little ways down the road. Gary not only genuinely cares about your well being but he’s a fantastic lawyer, and I was shocked to find out how much he helped me. I was found not guilty on all counts. Not PBJ, but not guilt...y, as in I’m a free man. Couldn’t thank him enough. He was super involved and kept me in the loop of everything he was doing. I could NEVER say enough about Gary Bernstein! I was in an accident on the day of my mother in laws viewing (no other vehicles or people were involved). I was very shaken up as it had already been a rough few weeks. I was getting ready to leave with my husband and the officer asked me a few questions..., and then asked me to take a field sobriety test. Long story short I had my own medication that I take regularly in my system. I had 6 charges against me including jail time. I was released at that time to wait for court. I started looking for an attorney and accidentally dialed Gary. The first time I hung up, but then I called back and left a message about my situation. Mr. Bernstein called me back within 5 minutes. I explained everything to him and he told me what it would cost and I met him the following week. Anytime I have called him it was always him who answered. If by chance he couldn't answer Gary called back within an hour. When Gary Bernstein walks into a courtroom he demands attention. What I mean by this is you can tell he knows what he is doing, everyone knows him and he knows the judges and how things are going to work out best for your case. I went to district court and he knew we needed to go to jury trial for me to have a better chance at things. We went to circuit court and they wanted me to do weekend jail. I had just had surgery so Gary asked for a postponement. We got through the holidays and court came again. Gary called me and told me to be ready for jury trial that day. I was very nervous. Gary doesn't sugarcoat anything. However, he always has a plan and can be trusted. My family and I were at the courtroom first. That day we watched all the cases. The 1 officer was there waiting to testify. However the prosicuter was over 2 hrs late. Gary went into the judges chambers with the procecuter to discuss my case. When they came out Gary asked me a few questions about my driving and medication (which I'm off and not driving). Gary told the officer he could go. I then went before the judge. Gary had worked out a plea of guilty with my own prescription meds. I ended up with 2 yrs unsupervised probation! I didn't have to pay any fines. The fee that I paid Gary is Sooo.. Worth it!! To me I have never seen another attorney command attention the way he does. He knows his stuff. It doesn't matter which county you are in. I was in Harford county, but I know he works in other counties as well. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DID GARY BERNSTEIN!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!! THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU!!!

I was in an accident on 95 and was hit in the face with the airbag in a 60mph accident. I was asked to go to the hospital and upon sitting there for 4hrs the MD. State police showed up and charged me with a DUI and neglegent driving. The DUI was for presdribed medication from 7 surgeries i had on my ...legs in September 2017. I am also currently on parole for 2 drug charges from 2014 and if i were to violate i had 8 years of backup time. Gary kept in contact with my parole agent my insurance company and myself on a regular basis. Gary Bernstein is one of the most stand up men ive ever met in my life and hes a man of his word. Upon going to court Gary spoke with the officer the emt and the prosecutor and they were unable to convict me of anything because the state was unable to prove the airbag or the medication that had me in the state of mind in which i was when the Emt and the Officer had seen me. All tje charges were aquitted he filed the paper work to have it taken off my record for me as well.. He also worked woth me on money and payment plans because i get disability.. If u want a good lawyer and you want to win your case hire Gary Bernstein. Never in my life will I use anyone besides him.. Thank you Gary.

Let me tell you a little story about the greatest lawyer to ever grace the state of Maryland and beyond... My girlfriend and I were getting ready for a trip out of state and packing our bags for our flight only to realize that somehow she had missed a court case and received a "warrant" for a failure... to appear. Realizing the gravity of the situation and not being able to board an airplane, I immediately pick up the phone and call Gary Bernstein. Not only did Gary pick up the phone immeadiately on what I'm sure was a busy morning for him, but he personally counseled me through exactly what needed to be done, step by step, and made sure I knew exactly what to do to get the situation resolved. Well after dealing with Baltimore county's dreaded court system, I came to realize that the process was going to be ALOT harder than initially anticipated (no fault of Gary's but a fault in the system / paperwork). I immediately call Gary back and explain what's happening and he does some immediate digging into the situation. Once he gets everything he needs on his end, (pretty much immediately. I'm not sure how someone can work faster than I can even process what's going on, it's amazing) he tells me he'll call me right back. Just a mere minute later I receive a call back and he informs me that he has spoken with the court and has arranged for me to be seen immediately and have the situation resolved. At this point I'm ecstatic! He personally walks me through what I need to do again and gets me into the court room! As the judge and prosecutor call me up, they ask me what the situation is and I explain what's happening. They explain to me that the process is very difficult and can be a taunting challenge for even for the best of the best. They proceed to ask me who my attorney is and how I was able to complete the steps that were just taken. I tell them Gary Bernstein and then the prosecutor, judge, and bailiff all chuckle and remark, "Oh! That's how!" The judge exits the room and comes back a short while later. While the judge was out of the room, the prosecutor and bailiff explain to me that Gary is one of the most respected and sought after attorneys in Baltimore and that the feat he has just walked me through is next to near impossible. They basically tell me that what was just performed was a miracle and that it could have only happened with Gary because of his knowledge and expertise. The judge comes back into the courtroom with papers in hand and begins to explain what the others had just informed me of. After explaining to me that I'm the luckiest person in the courtroom today, based solely on my representation by Mr. Bernstein, he hands me my paperwork and tells me everything is done and to have a good day! How is it that I just witnessed a miracle happen, had an amazing attorney take time out of his busy schedule to personally solve an emergency problem for me, and have it all done immediately with a professional and friendly attitude throughout the entire process ? I'll tell you how, MR. GARY BERNSTEIN is the BEST OF THE BEST and I personally do not believe that ANY other attorney could have pulled off what he did for me, let alone immediately and without hesitation! There are not enough words to express the gratitude I have for a man of his talent! I cannot recommend him enough! If you want quick, professional, and amazing results, he is your guy! I challenge anyone to find a better, more talented, friendly, and professional attorney than Mr. Bernstein! I wish there were more than 5 stars for this review ! I'll never use another attorney or recommend anyone else after my happenings with Mr. Bernstein!
