I think Gary Bernstein is the best lawyer I can imagine there is. I made a mistake that I didn’t even know was against the law - I pushed someone out of my way after he threatened my friends and me. I just wanted to get out of the situation and did not know that pushing is a 2nd degree assault. I mad...e a lot more problems for myself after the police came and was in a lot of legal trouble, facing a lot of jail time. When I was able to talk to Gary, he helped talk me down from my severe anxiety and let me know he was there to help and would do everything in his power to keep me out of jail. Even though he listened to me recount what happened, he warned me that he couldn’t make any comments until he saw body cam footage. He saw that I was telling the truth, which was still really bad. The most serious charge I faced was baseless, just like I had said. Gary immediately contacted the prosecutor and had that charge dropped. Even though I faced more serious charges, that was a huge relief. Gary was really upfront with me and firm which was good for me in that situation. I don’t think I would feel comfortable with a lawyer that was not so confident, realistic and commanding. He took charge of my future, and in the end, saved my life. Literally, my whole future would have been ruined. All of the most serious charges were dropped, to my shock and surprise. I just couldn't believe it. Gary was able to work his expertise and focus on my case, so that when we went in to the courtroom, he was amazing to watch. I really was in awe of his abilities and that he got me unsupervised probation opposed to potentially quite a lot of time in jail. Gary’s skills, approach, experience and reputation really make me see why he is a Maryland Superlawyer 2007-2021 and one of the Best Lawyers in America 2008-2021, year after year. He is so knowledgable. I cannot say enough about Gary. He cares about his clients, too and works really really intensely in his job. I owe Gary Bernstein the biggest THANK YOU of my life.

Gary S. Bernstein was completely prepared and informed to handle our case. His advice prior to and after were spot on.
