I got my second DUI on a Saturday, was released from jail Sunday morning, was in Gary’s office Monday afternoon. Two friends of mine (both with DUIs) recommended Gary to me. Although the charge is a misdemeanor, it can have very serious implications for a young person with respect to education and future employment and we knew we ne...eded a lawyer. Despite the exculpatory facts of the case, the first lawyer we talked to told us he would not recommend going to trial, but would work for a stet. After learning a stet could take several years to resolve and expunge we were discouraged and decided to talk to another lawyer.
