Chris is an absolute treasure to the practice of law. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I unknowingly found myself in the position driving on a suspended license. He took me call on a weekend; eased my concerns and walked me through the process seamlessly. I felt heard. I felt his representation ...of me resulted in the positive outcome of my case. Prayerfully, I will not be in need of his skills any time soon. But, if I do, I know who to call. Worth his fee and then some.

It is difficult to write this review because Chris did so much good for our family. We hired Chris to represent our son in a juvenile matter. With my son Chris was compassionate, understanding, and honest. Chris truly showed that he cared about the overall wellbeing of our child and the impac...t that this situation had brought our family and you could feel that this was genuine. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and throughout every phase of this process he took the time to explain to us what was happening. He truly was our calm while in this storm. Chris fought for our son in a way that I feel confident saying no other attorney would have. He took the time to speak to everyone who could potential affect the outcomes of our case. I believe this personal touch that he applied really helped in us winning. While we hope to never have to use Chris again I would recommend him.

My family and I are more than pleased with the gracious and skillful expertise we received from Mr. Chris Flohr of Blackford&Flohr, L.L.C., located in Severna Park, Md. A friend recommended Mr. Flohr to us when our son was unjustifiably accused of giving false information to a police officer. Su...ch a charge is a misdemeanor in Maryland so we took the matter very seriously. Our son has never been in trouble with the law, and we saw this accusation as an attack on his character and upstanding reputation. Fortunately, Chris was able to immediately discern that the charges were unwarranted. Initially, Chris wisely sought and secured a continuance of the assigned court date. This granted time for us to prepare a proper defense and work towards receiving a dismissal of the charge. Chris advised us to have our son perform community service and attain character reference letters to be presented to the state’s attorney and judge. On more than one occasion, Chris took the time to carefully explain Maryland law in regards to our son’s charge, the effects and possible outcomes of such a charge, as well as his strategy for attaining dismissal of the charge. As a parent of a young college student like ourselves, Chris knew the undo stress and unfairness of this case. He was sensitive and sympathetic to our desire to avoid a court appearance and he worked steadfastly to meet our primary concern of having the charge dropped without any consequence or penalty. Because of his vast knowledge of the law and experience Chris wisely and correctly anticipated the actions of the court. He spoke to the state’s attorney on our behalf, stated our case, and presented documentation of our son’s community service and character reference letters. In doing so, he secured a full dismissal of the charge (Nulle Prosequi), and we did not even have to appear in court. Chris and his assistant, Ms. Lois Highsmith, always treated our family with the utmost respect, care, and understanding. Their words and actions demonstrated a genuine sincerity of heart and spirit for the work they do, as well as for the people and the God they do it for! Our family will be forever grateful for their service and gracious commitment. We strongly recommend Mr. Chris Flohr!
