LaSheena M. Williams is a practicing attorney in Rockville, Maryland.
She received her undergraduate degrees from Towson University in Psychology and Criminal Justice and is a graduate of Howard University School of Law.
While in school Mrs. Williams interned with Prince George’s County’s Citizen’s Complaint Bureau where she reviewed over 300 citizen-filed complaints, including complaints regarding elder abuse and domestic violence. After gaining membership to the Bar she began work as an attorney focusing her practice on family law while working for a small law firm in Baltimore County. During this time, she handled complex and highly contested divorces, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence related matters.
After a period working in a firm setting Mrs. Williams struck out on her own launching the Law Office of LaSheena M. Williams, LLC to focus on meeting the unique needs of her clients throughout the great state of Maryland.
Mrs. Williams is licensed to practice before the State of Maryland and the United States District Court, District of Maryland. She holds professional memberships with the Maryland State Bar Association; Prince George’s County Bar Association; the Montgomery County Bar Association and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association. Ms. Williams was selected for the 2016-17 Montgomery County Bar Association Leadership Academy and serves as a Family Law Fellow for the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section. When not practicing law, Ms. Williams volunteers her time in a number of community-oriented outreach programs sponsored by her local Bar Association.
