I have practiced law in Maryland for over 25 years. I attended Stetson University in Florida and then received hi J.D. from the Stetson College of Law, which is universally recognized as one of the top trial advocacy schools in the Trial Advocacy
I interned for the Maryland Attorney General's Office. I have held Judicial clerkships with the Honorable Irma S. Raker and the Honorable David C. Cahoon (Chief Administrative Judge) in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
I am a member of the Maryland State Bar Association MSBA, the Bar Association of Montgomery County BAMC, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association (MCDAA), as well as seveal local and state bar sections and committees.
I have been recognized locally and by the State of Maryland as a civic and community leader and activist. I was the past President of the Greater Laytonsville Civic Association and has been on several county advisory boards concerning community and enviromental issues.
I work extensively with individuals, especially teens and yound adults, concerning treatment for alcohol and drug abuse. This work extends beyond my clients.
My family has been active in public service representing the State of Maryland for almost 100 years. I am married to Dana Tydings and have two children. I live in Montgomery County and St. Mary's County, Maryland.
