When we needed an attorney to represent my underage son due to an alcohol citation, Ms. Dolan came highly recommended by a friend who had previously hired her and had a good outcome for his case. During our initial consultation, she was clear about what my son would need to do and how she could help.... Someone else mentioned the word, "tenacious" and I think that's the perfect way to describe Ms. Dolan. We hired her for a reasonable rate compared to other lawyers we considered, and after my son took the required alcohol and drug abuse classes she got his record cleared. She's has a lot of experience and connections that will benefit your case. Like most other former clients who reviewed her here, I felt she was candid, straight-forward and honest with us, and I recommend her without reservation.

Do not hire Kathleen Dolan for any legal issues. She misrepresents the facts and cost me my case. My case & the facts: I received a DUI last year and hired Kathleen as my attorney. I regret that decision. From the very beginning, she was rude. She neglected to inform me of the DUI process and the...n on the day before I had my first court appearance, rudely asked why I didn't complete my educational classes. I told her I was never informed of the process (classes I needed to take). During our discussion, she agreed that her receptionist failed to follow through and that it was her firm's fault for not informing me of the process. She agreed to move the court date only if I paid her an extra $750. Even though this felt like extortion, I paid her as I wanted a favorable outcome from the judge. A few months later, she claimed that she had a family issue and was unable to attend the day of the sentencing. She sent a junior level replacement, who wasn't informed of the case until I briefed him what had happened. After the sentencing date, I had to complete some paperwork which required Kathleen's signature. She refused to sign the document until I paid her an extra $750 again. Now, I can't move ahead without her signature. I refused to pay her another $750 just so that she can sign the document. Her fees for this case was upwards of $5,000, while she (and her firm) didn't do anything. Her business practices are highly unethical.She will lie and put all the blame on you, even though you hired her to represent you in court. Please, please, please do not hire her as an attorney, unless you want the worst possible outcome.

Katleen was very helpful in my case. We didn't win but she went to a lot of trouble to make the best of a bad situation.
