David Anthony Lucas

I highly recommend David Lucas. He recently prepared my Estate Planning documents, and not only was I impressed by his vast legal knowledge and the advice and recommendations given, but also by his kindness, patience and empathy – attributes very necessary in his specialty of law, but not always foun...d. It is a skill that cannot be taught. Dave took the time to understand the whole picture, took time to explain, and asked questions with compassion and sensitivity, so that I felt entirely comfortable throughout the whole process. I was the Estate Executor and Trustee for my father's affairs and returned to Maryland to settle things after my dad passed away. My sister and I met with David on referral from a friend. We both liked his style (listened, approachable, easy to talk to) and our initial impression was that he was ver...y skilled and knowledgeable. I had no previous experience in this arena and therefore needed someone I could depend on completely to handle both the regular processing of the Estate and Trust, plus to give me counsel about some unfortunate family issues. David handled both the Will/Estate and my Dad's Trust with the utmost of excellence, competence and wisdom. The Trust had been written by another attorney and had some language that caused a bit of a stir in the family. David professionally assessed the situation and gave me counsel as to the correct legal interpretation and handling of the Trust. He also expertly handled an unexpected legal situation that arose in the family in which they involved another attorney. His successful handling of that situation precluded any further legal action. David is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. He corresponded with me in a timely fashion and answered all of my questions (and believe me, there were plenty!) with patience and detailed explanations. I highly recommend David Lucas.
