In 1993, Nicole received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania; and in 1995, her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Nicole began her career as a speech-language pathologist working with adults who had strokes and swallowing disorders. After working in nursing homes for several years, she decided to attend law school to assist her patients with advanced directives.
After graduating from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003 with a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in estate planning, she began practicing estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. Her medical background allows her to communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and geriatric care managers. Nicole has drafted thousands of estate plans. She values education and presents public seminars on estate planning to potential clients.
Nicole is also admitted to the District of Columbia Bar. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates section and the Elder Law and Disability Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. For four years, she served on the Elder Law and Disability Section Council and provided the quarterly newsletter to members. Nicole is also a member of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and the Womens Bar Association. Nicole has a warm personality easily putting clients at ease to assist them with the creation of their estate plans.
Born in a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, she moved to Maryland in 1993 when she attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, College Park. She currently resides in Shipleys Choice with her husband and two children. Nicole enjoys outings with her family to museums, parks, sporting events, theaters, and beaches. The family welcomed Charlie - a cavapoo - to the family and he is often by her side.
