A Consummate Professional

I consulted and hired Brian Lee upon the recommendation of another attorney. Brian has in depth knowledge of the intricacies of bankruptcy law and skillfully guides his clients through a process that is both complex and emotionally charged. In addition to his professional expertise, he is patient and... supportive. He is meticulous in his attention to detail and responds ppromply to client concerns.

Wrongful Foreclosure

I give Brian three stars for taking my call and providing his legal advice. Free consultation is nice to have. :) However, I felt very unhappy at the end of the call. Our house was wrongfully foreclosed upon and the bank had admitted wrongdoing in a letter they sent along with a few hundreds of c...heck. I talked to Brian about exploring my legal options and he was very dismissive. Unlike other attorneys I subsequently called, he wouldn’t even take a look at the letter I had received along with the check. He said something along the lines of: “ This is probably a class-action suit or a settlement with the Attorney General. The $$ is all you get.” It wasn’t a class-action and wasn’t a settlement with the AG either. He wasn’t willing to look into it further. His tone was a gut-punch. He said the statute of limitation was five years and I later found out it depends on the state. After speaking with others attorneys, I called him again to express how I felt during the call, but he didn’t seem to notice anything was wrong. He was just completely silent. I was referred to him by another attorney and upon reading his reviews, decided to contact. I’m a proud immigrant and perhaps my accent was a deal-breaker for him. My bottom-line: Will not contact him again in the future.

Thanks for calling my office twice yesterday and for discussing your case with me. As I told you, your case is outside my practice area -- we only help clients who are facing foreclosure -- but I am glad I was able to give you some helpful information. We remember our conversations a bit differently. I hate giving bad news to good people, and my analysis obviously was not what you wanted to hear. While I try to be as candid as possible, however, I am never dismissive because the folks who call my office need support, not criticism. Nonetheless, I'm still sorry for the way our talk made you feel. I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

This is your last stop in your searches for an attorney. After numerous research and interview with many lawyers, I decided to hire attorney Brian Lee. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, attentive and diligent. He went above and beyond to file my ch 7 bankruptcy and get a quick and successful... discharge. I had some assets and tax returns I was afraid I would lose as well as some mess with a family member that was also undergoing bankruptcy in a different state, under a different chapter that tied us together. Attorney Lee protected the both of us. He was available on Saturdays, was extremely responsive by phone and email and was even available for consultation after my discharge. He is worth 5x then what he charges. You will be very satisfied. Search no more!

Excellent Attorney!

I hired Brian for my Bankruptcy 7 case and he was so professional and thorough. He gave me a free consultation, carefully went over my financial situation and declared that I was a good candidate for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Everything Brian told me would happen did. There were no surprises in court ...and no additional fees for his services. Hopefully I will not have to hire Brian anytime in the near future but IF I had to, I would definitely hire him again. Excellent, excellent attorney!!!

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
