Wrongful Foreclosure

I give Brian three stars for taking my call and providing his legal advice. Free consultation is nice to have. :) However, I felt very unhappy at the end of the call. Our house was wrongfully foreclosed upon and the bank had admitted wrongdoing in a letter they sent along with a few hundreds of c...heck. I talked to Brian about exploring my legal options and he was very dismissive. Unlike other attorneys I subsequently called, he wouldn’t even take a look at the letter I had received along with the check. He said something along the lines of: “ This is probably a class-action suit or a settlement with the Attorney General. The $$ is all you get.” It wasn’t a class-action and wasn’t a settlement with the AG either. He wasn’t willing to look into it further. His tone was a gut-punch. He said the statute of limitation was five years and I later found out it depends on the state. After speaking with others attorneys, I called him again to express how I felt during the call, but he didn’t seem to notice anything was wrong. He was just completely silent. I was referred to him by another attorney and upon reading his reviews, decided to contact. I’m a proud immigrant and perhaps my accent was a deal-breaker for him. My bottom-line: Will not contact him again in the future.

Thanks for calling my office twice yesterday and for discussing your case with me. As I told you, your case is outside my practice area -- we only help clients who are facing foreclosure -- but I am glad I was able to give you some helpful information. We remember our conversations a bit differently. I hate giving bad news to good people, and my analysis obviously was not what you wanted to hear. While I try to be as candid as possible, however, I am never dismissive because the folks who call my office need support, not criticism. Nonetheless, I'm still sorry for the way our talk made you feel. I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

A Job Well Done

I don't normally write testimonials, however, I could not let this opportunity pass without sincerely thanking Brian V. Lee, Esq, Lee Legal, PLLC for helping me through an unfortunate and stressfull situation. My anxiety level was high and I did not know what to expect or what the outcome would be. ... Brian helped to make this unsolicited situation as palatable as possible. He was always highly professional and extremely knowledgable and very responsive. I believe clients normally have common complaints regarding their attorneys lack of responsiveness and communication. However, this was never the case with Brian. If you have been searching for an attorney that is responsive to your needs and produces positive results, I highly recommend Brian, he is an asset to his profession. WJB 9/4/14 If

A highly recommended lawyer!

Brian handled my Chapter 13 Bankruptcy in the spring of this year (2013). Best word to describe him is SUPERLATIVE! He is extremely knowledgable, trustworthy, honest and always answered my queries and concerns either immediately or within 24 hours be it on the phone and/or e-mail. He is very caring ...and does his best to assist you in the bankruptcy process. He also has a great since of humor and his Spanish is good, even though he claims it's been a long time since he studied it. I can guarantee you that you will be in great hands with your bankruptcy case with Brian! He's not your typical lawyer and will be on your side throughout the entire process. I highly commend him for his outstanding knowledge of bankruptcy law and would recommend him without any reservations!
