So I was facing Charges for driving while drunk in DC and they found my concealed carry (pistol) under my seat and my Virginia License to conceal carry wasn’t recognized by the District of Columbia. But Thankfully Mr. Shawn Sukumar’s amazing Knowledge and experience in his field was able to get the g...un charges dropped and I was able to avoid any jail time (aside from the initial arrest) and in the end had 6 months unsupervised Probation with 90 hours of community service, 12 hours of an alcohol class, online driving safety course, Online MADD course and a 100 fee I believe was it. And after all that the judge signed a Youth act order meaning my conviction was removed from my record. All in all I was very satisfied with the end result of my case. Highly recommend this gentleman, he is very professional and makes sure his clients understand everything and is very good about staying in contact with his clients and keeping them updated. You would Definitely want him representing you if you needed an attorney.

I would've rated 100 of 5 stars if I was given that option to rate Mr Sukumar, but unfortunately it's just 5/5 lol. Mr sukumar was very professional and calmed, he reassured me from the day I contacted him that everything will go in my favor and that's exactly how it went. He was very knowledgeable o...f the laws and also the courtroom. The strategy he laid out made it impossible for the prosecutor to have a case against me. He made me feel confident and optimistic about my case. Told me what the judge decision would be based on, and that's exactly how it turned out despite all the evidence the prosecution team had against me. Forever Thankful for Mr Sukumar.

Humans make mistakes and lets just say I made one. I felt as though everything I had worked for during the past decade, was going to be for nothing. Feeling hopeless doesn't begin to describe how I felt, until I met with Mr. Sukumar. I did some online research and it was clear that he was someone ...who would fight for his clients and remain honest, diligent, kind and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. This last year has been one exceeded expectation after the other. Every time I emailed Mr. Sukumar or called him, he'd respond, even if it was late at night or on a weekend. His vast knowledge of the law, honest communication and kindness has been more than I could have ever asked for. One of the things that meant the most to me is that he always informed me about what would or could happen, before it happened, so there were no real surprises. He always prepared you for the worst but hoped for the best. His optimism and due diligence are some of the reasons why I can say that my case was dismissed. You know that when you enter a courtroom and everyone acknowledges your lawyer with the utmost respect, that you made the right decision. So, if you find yourself in a situation where you need help but are unsure of who to call, trust me, call Mr. Sukumar. You won't be disappointed. He has forever changed my life and I will be indebted to him for forever.
