Biography
Joel focuses his practice on corporate and securities, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and intellectual property. His corporate commercial law practice includes representing clients in matters relating to corporate contracts, securities regulation, Blue Sky law, and private placements. Mr. Nied also has extensive experience handling transactions involving debt and equity financings, joint ventures, fund formation, licensing agreements, engineering services contracts, development agreements and supply agreements.
He serves as general outside counsel to a variety of companies by negotiating all modifications to form licenses and agreements, providing employment and compensation advice and coordinating the services of other legal, accounting and tax advisers. His practice is industry agnostic, ranging from medical device companies to SaaS providers to long term care facility chains to manufacturers.
