Andrea E. Mertz

Andrea is a smart, sharp attorney. She is no nonsense which when you're in need of a good defense attorney is what you need. I had a lot of medical issues tied to the case because of the parameters of it. Andrea pushed to get an appropriate resolution and a successful one. Can't say enough good thing...s. Hire her if you need representation. BTW: I read these reviews before hiring Andrea and thought they were too good to be true. I was wrong. She is worth every penny.

we hired Ms. Mertz to handle a very simple civil matter. After taking our money and putting up a good front she stopped contacting us in regards to our case. Even worse, she didn't notify us we had lost our case until after the time to appeal had expired, then after reviewing court records we discove...red that she didn't enter pertinent evidence into the record after we paid her to do so. We currently have complaints in with the bar association and are considering a legal malpractice case. I would not recommend hiring the person, if its a criminal case you'll be sitting in jail while she's cashing your check.

Some people suggest you do not to hire a lawyer on your 1st DUI since the BAC tiers and consequences are cut-and-dry, however I do not regret spending the money. Her guidance was greatly appreciated, she told me exactly what to expect and made the process quick and painless. If you do not hire a lawyer expect to spend more time sitting in the courtroom as well as time interpreting the paperwork that the court sends your way.

Andrea was a huge help from the first time we talked on the telephone before I hired her as my lawyer.
