With our 2nd Amendment rights being attacked at both the Federal and State level, and the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) trying to close down FFLs (Federal Firearms Licensees) for minor infractions while making FFLs the scapegoat when the ATF's records are inaccurate, I want to taking this opportunity to introduce myself. I am one of only a handful of attorneys across the US that practices in the niche area of law known as firearms law. I decided to concentrate my legal practice on firearms law not only because I am a shooter and firearms enthusiast, but also to ensure that our inalienable Right to Keep and Bear Arms is never encroached upon.
I handle cases at the Federal and State level for both FFLs and individuals. At the federal and state levels for individuals, I actively defend the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution and Section 21 of the PA Constitution, as well as, help individuals with:
At both the state and federal levels, I represent FFLs and SOTs throughout Pennsylvania and the US regarding:
In following my love for firearms and firearms law, I have taught several Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars on Firearms in Estates and Trusts and Firearms Law 101 for several Bar Associations, including Berks, Cumberland, and Dauphin Counties. I also planned and taught several Firearms in Estates CLE classes for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI).
While at Widener Law School, I was a member of the Widener Law Journal. I wrote an article on the Inaccuracy of the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record (NFRTR). I also had an article published on Fee Disputes in Workers Compensation cases in the Widener Law Journal, Volume 18, No. 2.
You can often find me posting on several internet forums, including Subguns, Uzitalk, AR15, and PAFOA. I also hold PA Firearms Law classes for local ranges to inform the public on the firearm laws of the Commonwealth.
Following in my father's footsteps, I am also a Board member for the Pottstown Police Athletic League (PAL).

Worth every penny
The bureaucracy thought they could try to take away my 2nd amendment rights because of some bogus charges brought against me due to local police trying to save themselves from embarrassment. Joshua was able to author a very specific and detailed letter to the state police that got my firearm rights r...

Professionalism and expertise
To say he has been one of the most professional and knowledgable people I have ever done business with is an understatement. He is the best at what he does. He knows the 2A as well as all the legal hoops that will need unraveled. My case was complex. I needed the best. I got the best. He won for...

The Industry Expert You Need
Deep knowledge of case law is table stakes. Joshua knows the people, personalities, and inclinations of Philadelphia's judges, city attorneys, politicians, and the police. When choosing an attorney to help you navigate difficult, politically contentious cases, you'll need both. Joshua provided me wit...

THE best 2A attorneym hands down
Josh took a case that I had been talking to several other lawyers about for years, each of them telling there was nothing that could be done and turned it into a class action and was able to pressure the defendants to make a $4,000,000 settlement. Again this after several other lawyers said there was...
"Josh is the foremost expert in firearms law, and relentlessly fights for our second amendment rights. He passionately educates his clients, fellow attorneys, and the firearms community about everything from Supreme Court decisions to hidden ATF rules."
"I endorse this lawyer. He is in the forefront of gun owners rights and is extremely knowledgeable and well respected on the subject."
"I have known Joshua for many years and have the privilege of working with him on all types of firearms-related legal issues. He is extremely well-versed in this area of law and passionate about his practice. His hard work and dedication are evident to his clients and colleagues. I also had the honor to be involved in the development of a new division of our firm, the Firearms Industry Consulting Group, headed by Joshua. FICG is dedicated to the preservation of firearms rights and the Second Amendment, as well as the protection of individuals and businesses involved in the industry. In his area of practice, Joshua regularly publishes blogs and articles, and also conducts seminars for attorneys, industry professionals, nonprofit organizations and the public. Without reservation, I would recommend Joshua to anyone seeking answers or advice in the area of firearms law."
"Attorney Prince is an ardent defender of civil rights. He enjoys a deep passion for the Second Amendment and is quickly becoming a national leader in firearms law. His practice is driven by a genuine belief in our Constitution and its promise of an individual's right to life and liberty. I have had the pleasure of working with Attorney Prince on several projects over the past few years. Most notably, we recently handled an appeal to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania defending our client's Second Amendment right to bear arms. Attorney Prince is known for his aggressiveness, organization, and ability to consider all angles of a case by thinking outside the box. He always earns the respect and appreciation of his clients. If I ever personally suffer a violation of my civil rights, particularly with respect to the Second Amendment, I would call Attorney Prince for representation. In my opinion, this is the highest compliment an attorney can extend to a colleague."
"I endorse this lawyer. Josh is becoming a nationally recognized attorney in the area of gun ownership and protecting the rights of gun owners. He is dedicated, passionate and an extremely knowledgeable attorney."
