There are a lot of personal characteristics in which I can explain Mr. Kotik but I would like to start with honesty. Mike honesty helped me feel confident in his work. He was realistic about my case and the possible outcome. One thing about Mike is that he hold you accountable for your actions. If he... helped you out of one sticky situation and you got your self into another sticky situation, he will let you know that he doesnt care about the money. What he cares about is not continuously working with you on the BS you decide to do. Mike cares about his clients and he don't want us to keep making these mistakes which has a major effect on our future. I personally have known Mike for about 2 years and I have never had ANY problems with him, Amato or the SKA faculty. Mike has worked with me for two situations I've got myself into which both happened in two different counties and both cases were dismissed. He is A 1 when it comes to getting people out if jail and trouble. I highly recommend Mike to anyone. I just recently hired mr. Kotick. For a problem I got pulled into very serious. I potentially and looking at taking a hit I didn't see coming or deserve. As soon as I sat down in his office and started explaining and hearing him reply it was like he was there he was that intelligent. In November 2015 I got a phone call from an officer asking questions about something that happened in November 2014 then in February out of the blue I was side swiped by the law as they unfairly charged me with filling out a federal form incorrectly. Although I did not understand the form and this w...as unintentional that was not their point of view. After I was placed in handcuffs at my work and afterwards released I had enough of being harassed so within a couple of days I found Michael on a search. When I called it was around 10-1030pm ( we had never spoken prior) but I left him a message and he was back to me within the hour. I explained my situation and he told me how it would be handled. He was able to buy me the time I needed and get the officer to back off and handle the surrender process; which was very difficult on me but he was/is always there to talk to his clients. After surrendering bail was refused but Michael did everything he could to update my family and get the bail posted immediately; which took him driving to NJ from PA twice at 3AM and again the same day at 7AM. Let's just say that's going the extra mile; figuratively and literally. If you want a lawyer that is available to chat because you are worried or need someone whose communication is on point, then Michael is your guy. He's also a lawyer that gives you bang for your buck; an A plus value lawyer as far as I'm concerned. If I ever have trouble in PA or NJ is my go to guy and the person I'd recommend to anyone. Michael is a man with a big heart willing to fight for your freedom and rights; and he doesn't take lousy offers.
