Jim is my attorney in an extremely messy and complex divorce. He was extremely successful in representing me during the custody phase. He defended me against contempt for protecting my children and won. We had one of the toughest judges you could get and he was again successful and we won. Not only d...id he ensure that my children remained safe in my care in Philadelphia, but he also went above and beyond to develop a connection with my children and made sure they felt safe and protected. We are still fighting our way through the rest of this complex divorce but I am extremely confident in his knowledge and abilities thus far in every appearance he’s made on my behalf, and I am very happy with the decisions he’s won in my favor. I’d also like to note that his legal assistant Ashley is amazing. She is very responsive, always warm and friendly, and will do whatever she can to help as quickly as she can. I highly recommend Jim Rocco and am very grateful to both he and Ashley for all they have done for me and my children.

I was in a situation with second marriage that was not going to proceed without a signed pre-nup. I was referred to James Rocco and it was the best advice I've ever gotten in my life. I had moved to another state and the way it was written was so well it was enforceable in this other state. In fact, ...my out-of-state lawyer wanted to know exactly who wrote it because it was so good. That was my honest experience and it was the best money I have ever spent. It's saved my financial life from a parasitic second wife who tried everything in the book to invalidate it.

Looking back after a few years, and how my case was mishandled, I just grew more angry. I WISH I had these " reviews" before succumbing to this lawyers slick talking, high billing, practice. He was boastful and degrading of other attorney's, and even would claim he had " connections" and could " win ..." my case when there is really no winning. I just wanted a peaceful solution, but Rocco made it all about money and winning everything that never happened. It actually was a poor outcome that I have had to re-do with a better lawyer years later. He is borderline unethical and not too honest, especially in his words and billing. As a female, I often felt uncomfortable around him and was glad I was done with him. Life goes on, but I would caution anyone from using this lawyer. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND INTERVIEW SEVERAL LAWYERS !

I’ve been working with Mr Rocco for the past four months. We had an all day(8hour) hearing yesterday in Philadelphia family court. Jim Rocco was nothing short of outstanding in the courtroom. My children are young, it would be nieve of me to assume this will be the last hearing I have. It is extreme...ly comforting to know I got Rocco when I need him! Jim Rocco is the most unprofessional attorney I have ever had. I was referred to him due to his low hourly rate and boy do you get what you pay for. Mr. Rocco only wanted my money and didn’t want to put the work in. He continually put himself before myself, his clients needs and failed to update m...e on countless custody issues I was dealing with, thus causing me a very poor outcome and limited custody with my children. I was never able to reach him and he never answers emails. He had a lot of lip service and promises in the beginning such as I know everyone at the courthouse, sign on with me and I guarantee you get what you want, all of which all ended up being lies. I wish I read these reviews before hiring him as they are spot on. Do not trust Jim Rocco and go to a real attorney.
