Was referred to Mr. Rocco by a friend. Spent a lot of money but found him arrogant and a " know it all " who he did not deliver what he claimed he could do. Said he knew all the Judges and would get me all we asked. He was late, not returning calls, billed for everything and did poorly in court. VERY... DISAPPOINTED. Hired a younger attorney to fix the mess.

James Rocco is great in court. He might be a little hard to communicate with when the court date is pending but he will come through and get the job done. He is well respected by his colleagues and the judges. And in the end, it's the results that count, not the out-of-court fluff other lawyers give... you.

Looking back after a few years, and how my case was mishandled, I just grew more angry. I WISH I had these " reviews" before succumbing to this lawyers slick talking, high billing, practice. He was boastful and degrading of other attorney's, and even would claim he had " connections" and could " win ..." my case when there is really no winning. I just wanted a peaceful solution, but Rocco made it all about money and winning everything that never happened. It actually was a poor outcome that I have had to re-do with a better lawyer years later. He is borderline unethical and not too honest, especially in his words and billing. As a female, I often felt uncomfortable around him and was glad I was done with him. Life goes on, but I would caution anyone from using this lawyer. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND INTERVIEW SEVERAL LAWYERS !

After almost 2 years when Mr Rocco said my case was finished well, I found out that many things were done totally wrong. Especially money and distribution as he did not do adequate accounting. I paid tons of money for his services, only to find out most was poorly done. Had to re-do and re-file sever...al issues and pay again. My opinion? Mr Rocco is careless and a bit cavalier with cases, as he makes broad promises he failed to keep. NOT RECOMMENDED

Was referred to this lawyer and what a mistake. He claims to know family law but he is a jack of all trades and let me suffer alone. I'll prepared, confused and cannot litigate. My ex had a hot shot and string female attorney and she ate him for court dinner as he had no knowledge if my case ir cou...rt litigation! I changed lawyers and settled my case but he wasted money , time and respect.
