I'm writing this review to share my experience. Unfortunately, Jim Rocco and his associates don't prioritize timely resolutions. I recommend seeking opinions from other marital lawyers in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area; you'll likely hear similar negative feedback about Jim Rocco. This isn't about ...competition; there are other attorneys with positive comments. Consider this a warning: avoid this firm. Take the time to research thoroughly before making a decision.

I’ve been working with Mr Rocco for the past four months. We had an all day(8hour) hearing yesterday in Philadelphia family court. Jim Rocco was nothing short of outstanding in the courtroom. My children are young, it would be nieve of me to assume this will be the last hearing I have. It is extreme...ly comforting to know I got Rocco when I need him! (Custody was returned to me, the father, yesterday)

I only wish I read the reviews on Jim Rocco before I wasted my time meeting with him. I went in for a free consultation and Jim Rocco’s I arrogance on how he knows everyone and use his relationships with Judge’s to get what his clients want was a red flag for me as no good attorney every makes promi...ses. He even bragged about opposing parties whose lives he ruined, not caring about the best interest of the children. Made me sick to think that individuals actually hire this so called “attorney” to represent them in Family Court. BEWARE…..Jim Rocco is unethical and only cares about his billable hours and money. Find a real attorney, there are plenty on this website, just not this one.

For over 5 years my son has been fighting for f...ull custody of my grandson, and my grandson is only 6 years old. We had hired another lawyer to begin the process, and I believe today that should we have stayed with our original lawyer, we would not have had the outcome that we received yesterday. I also believe that if we had begun the process with Jim Rocco it would not have taken 5 years for us to resolve this very important matter. My grandson was born outside of a marriage commitment. The relationship between his parents was always rocky at best. When he was 9 months old a situation developed that quickly turned angry and volatile between the mother of my grandson and myself. From that moment on, events would change all of our worlds forever and put into question the safety and security of my grandson should he remain in primary custody of his mother’s care. She kidnapped my grandson and left to another state without any indication of where she was going and our true struggles began. Given all the facts of this case, I am still bewildered by the courts decision at that time, and in times since to place my grandson in an equal custody arrangement. Together as a family, my son and I began attending court hearings, and 4 years passed without resolution to this matter. And then we met Jim Rocco, and with my first experience of meeting Jim, I knew that I would respect and admire him both as a man and as a professional. He and his office were very prompt and efficient and always available. My son is very heavily tattooed and can appear intimidating or be looked upon as being someone totally different from what his true self is. I know that he has faced judgment and persecution from others because of his outward appearance, but that was never the case with Jim. He took the time to listen to my son’s story, and formulate his own opinion that despite my sons outward appearance he truly loved my grandson and wanted to do everything in his power to gain full custody of him. I believe whole heartedly that Jim made it HIS mission to do everything in HIS power to make sure that happened. After 1 ½ years in Attorney Rocco’s care we finally received a decision from the courts yesterday. It was all we had hoped for. My son was given full custody, meaning my grandson is safe, and his future is more stable. My son has recently become engaged to a beautiful woman. He has achieved full custody of his son. I have never been so proud of my son and my heart has never felt more full. Now we can finally create a family with security, safety, stability and true love. Thank you Jim Rocco, from the bottom of my full and grateful heart.
