Do not hire.

She was incredibly difficult to contact, barely communicated and when she did she only brought up the worst case scenarios. She did not even attempt to look at my case until less than a week before the hearing despite having been assigned to my case for over a month. We spoke four times on the phone ...for less than two hours TOTAL over those calls. She coerced me into accepting fault for a crime I did not commit and did not explain to me what I was agreeing to. She did not represent me, look at the case, or fight for me in any way, shape, or form. Terrible lawyer, terrible person, non-empathetic and does NOT care about you or your case.

Sentencing

At the consultation she seems to Really care about you. We hired her payed her and she did nothing for us at all. She kept telling us that she was going to be able to lower the sentence She didn’t. I believe she’s more for the district Attorney. Than on your side. So be careful

CAME THROUGH FOR ME AGAIN

I hired emily in 2009 in a drug case in berks county, she was excellent I was looking at a state sentence, but through her motions and arguments at sentencing I ended up with a county sentence. Very aggressive lawyer. I recently found myself arrested again federally on another drug charge, I hire...d emily again and with her suppression motions and talking with the prosecutor and skills at sentencing I was sentenced below the guidelines, very please with her work, always there when I had questions. CAN'T GO WRONG HIRING EMILY. THANKS

90 Days changed to 72 Hours Most Helpful Attorney I ever met

Emily Cherniack came to my rescue after I had some issues with a DUI, ineffective counsel(public defender) and then a attorney whom charged me the rest of my money only to tell me he was not the right attorney. Emily worked with my budget and helped me get the results I should have gotten from my pub...lic defender not to mention the high price attorney after the public defender ruined me. I'm not one to usually right reviews but she definitely deserves praise because in the justice world where it seems the all mighty dollar matters most and your life second Emily always showed up and kept in contact without making me get a second job delivering pizza.

master strategist

Emily is a master strategist. She takes the impossible case and finds the angles the rest of us simply do not see. Her clients love her. The prosecution never sees her coming. Miracle worker on a drug case. She understands the way the government thinks and beats them at their own game.
