David James Henry

I hired Mr. Henry for my custody case in 2019. He was an HOUR late to the custody hearing and was rude with no explanation why he was so late and unprepared. He lost my case for me. He has no respect for clients time. Do not use him for your attorney, there are so many other good ones out there....

(This is my opinion after working with David for over a year) I would give 0 stars if that were an option. What I can see is that he works very hard to defend himself on Avvo Reviews, but I never felt he worked very hard to help me or my case. Like others have said in the 1 Star reviews here an...d on google...the bills mount quickly and with little to no detail. I found communicating in a timely manner to be very difficult, despite all the 5 star reviews that commend him for his “incredible communication skills”. He makes you use his server which is cumbersome and no very mobile friendly and can be turned off by him, this preventing the ability to pull up any info after things go south with him (I have now lost my ability to get in now that I have posted this review). He refuses to text with clients (I have had other lawyers that are fine using text for quick info passing). He never once arrived to court before me, despite court mandated times for hearings. He completely missed my last child support hearing, so I defended myself out of desperation and got crushed. Very often our only “prep time” was done in the hallway right before court. He would never let me say a word in court without having a sometimes aggressive reaction telling me to be quite in what I and other family members found most awkward in that court room setting. In the end I worked with David for over a year, spent over $30,000 and I would not recommend him to anyone, ever...

This Attorney is amazing. I had a appointment with him, and was requested unexpectedly to appear in court the same day. Mr. Henry adjusted his schedule, reviewed documents, and met me in court within hours. The outcome was very favorable for me. I found him to be very competent, compassionate, and hi...ghly effective in his representation of my very complex situation. This by far has been the BEST ATTORNEY I have ever encountered. He was just what I needed, gentle as a dove as I was very emotional, but the BULLDOG I needed in the courtroom. I would highly recommend this skilled Attorney to any and everyone who wants one thing.
