LATE OR NO SHOW
I hired Mr. Henry for my custody case in 2019. He was an HOUR late to the custody hearing and was rude with no explanation why he was so late and unprepared. He lost my case for me. He has no respect for clients time. Do not use him for your attorney, there are so many other good ones out there....
This is absolutely false. I have subpoenaed documents relating to this "Anonymous" poster and will be filing a civil action and also be requesting criminal prosecution. This is the same person that provided the prior false review and for some reason this site permits entirely false reviews to be posted without any vetting whatsoever. I am filing a libel action against this person, who is mentally ill.

Keep looking
(This is my opinion after working with David for over a year) I would give 0 stars if that were an option. What I can see is that he works very hard to defend himself on Avvo Reviews, but I never felt he worked very hard to help me or my case. Like others have said in the 1 Star reviews here an...
This review contains numerous false, deceptive, and/or misleading statements. Appropriate legal action is being taken. Sadly and unfortunately, there are people in this world who are liars, criminals, manipulators, suffer from mental illness, or are generally "bad" folks. Sometimes all of these characteristics are rolled into one person. Of course, most people are great, hard-working, sane, forthright, and reasonable. Sometimes people are not given custody of their children, yet fail to accept why this would be the case. Sometimes people fail to tell their attorney all of the facts of what is going on in their case and/or lie about the underlying facts in their case. My general advice to people is that they should be honest with their attorneys and with themselves and if they aren't, then they are victims of their own behavior and choices.

Awful and you will never get a penny back
Failed to represent me on several occasions. Never prepped me, nor advised me of what was coming up nor required by the court. Did not tell me when to be in court, had to find another lawyer at the last minute and on top of this refused to give me file until he was legally demanded to hand over the m...
Read all other reviews for a true one. This rating is completely false and not by any client of mine and is anonymous because of that fact. This is likely from someone who lost in court against my law firm. Each statement also is false, because: (1) every single client of mine is prepared in my office before court and every single client of mine loves our trial preparation, which includes a mock exercise of the questions they will be asked in court; (2) every single client knows when court is because they have access to my server, which shows my calendar for their case and every court hearing is listed on the calendar and they are notified of it via email and a phone call, in addition at the time of trial preparation; (3) I do not have any clients that found a lawyer last minute; (4) I have never had to be "legally demanded" to turn over a file or ever refused to turn over a file; (5) payment couldn't be easier - you can write a check or you can do payment over the phone or in person for credit cards; (6) despite this person saying you have to pay via direct transfer . . . that is completely false since I DO NOT do direct transfers and never have; (7) when a case is done, if there is money due back to a client, that is promptly refunded . . . furthermore, billing is automated and you can check on your billing via invoices that are uploaded into the server, for which you have a password and can check the server 24/7 on your own.

Not recommended at all
Horrible. Hired him to represent me in my custody case. Took a sizable retainer, and never even followed up until a day before my case. Made me wait outside of the courtroom while he allegedly argued the case, only to lose. Never sent me a breakdown of the retainer, kept it all AND kept my file, ...
This is clearly written by someone who was not my client and lost to my client in court and is now trying to get back at me for my victory. Read every other review to realize this person was never a client of mine. This comment does not match any client I have or had. Everything in this comment is a lie. I have no such client that any of this info could apply to. This is submitted by an anonymous person and is exceptionally suspicious and on it's face written by someone who has little grasp on reality and is clearly unstable. Example: how would a custody case be argued without the parent being in the courtroom? So, clearly this is a lie. I have no files that any client has requested, so that is a lie. I suspect this is written by someone on the opposing side of a case that lost to me in court and is trying to get back at me for what must have been a great victory for my client. I have had countless custody victories.
