Excellent lawyer

Gail knew exactly what she was doing and was very clear in explaining everything to me throughout the process of my dui case. Because of Gail I had certain charges dropped and fortunately didn't lose my license. I recommend her for anyone who is in need of a great lawyer for their dui/dwi cases.

DUI

Gail is straight forward, and knowledgeable on DUI. She bought me a pair of pants for court (I was dressed for jail at the time). She brought my belongings to the jail for me- I had nobody to help me with this. She was very reasonably priced- 1/2 of what others lawyers wanted to charge. It was ...a terrible situation all around- and am glad it is over.

KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT DOESN'T REALLY CHALLENGE DUI CASES

I hired Gail for my DUI. Apparently she likes to do a lot of DUI cases. I didn't really know why until I saw how she handles them. It seemed like she went in to see the judge in the first hearing, then came out and told me were were "waving" my case to DUI court. When we went to DUI court a few... months later, she had me pleading guilty. The sentence I got was probation, which was Ok, but I had told her from the beginning I wanted to fight my case because the police never got my blood. It seems like she always intended to have me plead guilty. Then when we were in DUI court, she had 2 other clients that day for the same type of case and they also pleaded guilty. If she made that much money from them as what she charged me, that's a lot of money to make when you're not even fighting for your clients. I don't know if she fights cases in other types of crimes but for DUI, she seems to just do guilty pleas. I'm disappointed because she charged me pretty much.

Do Not Recommend for Bankruptcy

I originally saw Gail Marr for chapter 7 bankruptcy. I had two private student loans that I could not pay due to a disability. It was a complex case but bankruptcy seemed to be the best option. Our first meeting was not even 20 minutes long and I was told these loans would be easily discharged! She... didn't look at any of my loan documents or advise me of the process or possible outcomes. It wasn't until I took the required credit counseling and spoke with a representative that I realized how difficult it would be to discharge student loans. When I called to ask questions she was never available, never returned a single phone call, and she never sent any communication/copies to confirm what was happening with the case. When I scheduled a 2nd meeting she didn't have anything prepared and politely asked to reschedule. I understand lawyers have busy schedules and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but then she asked to reschedule the 2nd meeting again just a few hours before our appointment! When we spoke on the phone she again apologized and asked if we could meet quickly to sign the paper work since it had already been about 2 months since our first meeting and nothing was done. We didn't even meet at her office supposedly because of traffic. We met halfway at a convenience store and even then I arrived first and was waiting a good 15 to 20 mins before she arrived. Once she did arrive she realized there wasn't any place to sit and go over everything so we ending up sitting in my cramped car. Signing papers on my steering wheel and discussing financials in a busy convenience store parking lot is beyond unprofessional but I could have let all that go if I thought she was actually going to help. But as we quickly went over my list of creditors she didn't seem too familiar with Navient or that Navient was affiliated with Sallie Mae and serviced both private and federal loans. I decided not to go through with the bankruptcy at least with this lawyer and law firm. I fully believe if I did continue I would have spent $1,200 for a lawyet to discharge credit card debt that added up to a little more than the total I would have paid them, and I would have been left with $50,000 in student loans still. At least the first payment I made was refunded but I wasted 4 months with an attorney that was clearly too busy with other cases to take my case or didn't want to admit to her lack of knowledge handling student loans in bankruptcy. Either way I would not recommend this attorney for bankruptcy cases.

WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD

Why do people on here say this lawyer is helpful? I hired her for my DUI in bucks county and after I gave the $$ I couldn't reach her. I called and called and they told me she would call back or an assistant would call back but I couldn't get in touch with her. Then she showed at my first hearing... and tried to make it seem like she knew what was going on but I saw her triying to get up to speed talking to the police officer and reminding herself who I was and what my case was about. My friend from community college recommended her because she handled his DUI case but I would never recommend this woman. I already paid her so I went thru her handling it but if you want your lawyer to ever call you back then find one who keeps track of cases and returns calls!!!
