I was arrested for a bogus yet serious crime... felony assault of a first responder. I hired Dan. After reviewing all the info Dan told me that he was going to get me an ARD. I was facing a wrongful charge of Retail Theft due to an error with a merchant’s Returns system (long story). I tried for weeks to contact someone at the merchant’s corporate headquarters to explain what happened and have the charge withdrawn. But no one would get back to me, and the court date was fast approaching. The matter was somewhat complex and I knew I’d be in over my head trying to explain the situation to the Judge, so I contacted the local Bucks County Bar Association for an attorney referral. I was at first a little skeptical when they asked for $40, but I agreed, and they recommended Mr. Schatz. After a very attentive and informative consultation with Mr. Schatz, I felt strongly that I wanted him to represent me. The unexpected bonus was that the nature of my case was also in need of his partner’s experience (Ms. Stancu). After reading both of their profiles and client reviews, I was thrilled to have them both representing me, which involved only a minimal increase over what one attorney would have cost. As the court date approached, I had not heard from either of them and I became concerned that my case was not being attended to. So at that point, I actually emailed them offering to pay more to make sure my case was getting the required attention; but they quickly replied saying not to worry and that I’m “in good hands”. I Hired This Lawyer before the pandemic and was very helpful and understanding. Unfortunately My case was postponed because of the pandemic and thru out the everything him and his staff were very helpful and keeping me informed wit changes that went on.

Daniel worked out a great deal for me, he was able to negotiate 5 years probation and restitution in which the probation automatically ends when full restitution is made, it could've been bad and involved significant jail time but he kept me out. I don't plan on ever having to use his services again but if I needed to I wouldn't hesitate to call him to help me again, I will recommend him to everyone!

Dan is an excellent lawyer. Even his colleagues think very highly of him. In my particular situation, I received a school bus ticket for a bus that took over 2 minutes to pick up the neighbor’s kids. The kids were seated while the driver was talking to the neighbor about his open house that was coming up. It doesn’t matter that the kids were seated and the driver was having a frivolous conversation with the parent. I received the citation carrying 5 points and a 2 month license suspension. This would be catastrophic for my family. We appealed the summary conviction at the county level and got the ticket to a careless driving ticket - 3 point offense and no suspension. This was a huge win in my book. Some of the other attorneys wouldn’t even take my case because they deemed it futile to fight this particular case. Dan was very professional and supportive throughout the whole process. If you give Dan your business, you will not be disappointed with the outcome.

I did not face serious charges- I wished to be found not guilty or to depose to an alternative that left "no trace" on my record. As for time spent and resource allocated- Dan certainly cut into his margin ensuring he was prepared. Preparation is everything with a trial and the proof was in the pudding. In court- Dan articulated respectfully and pivoted around the State's attempts to condem. In the end it was a one sided victory. Overall - this was money well spent. I believe the only negative is Dan does not practice outside of criminal law- where I would enlist him further.

After sending all the information we could gather on an inproper collection, Dan dove headfirst into rectifying the collections immediately. He contacted the collections company multiple times in an attempt to clear the debt or come to a mutual monetary resolution. He pulled through on an issue that has been in existence for over a year.
